Well the RRP is 29.99 USD. But bear in mind because we are exporting out of US we dont have to pay US sales tax. Shipping was USD 12. So around 42 bucks x 4.06 = RM170. Shipping is overkill by itself but because i capsized on the zero US taxation hence come up to be about the same as MY. MY RM149. So essentially I am paying extra RM21. But considering it is shipping all the way to MY i think ok la.

but i still would not recommend you to buy from amazon la. just wait for local unit. Cause I am amazon prime customer also so I am very familiar with amazon.

yes if anything is up for official price 29.99 will let you know. Beware of buying on amazon as well..there are bunch of 3rd party scalpers trying to sell for 50-60 USD which is not worth it at all.

I managed to register my unit yesterday night though. Warranty expiration 2022-04-13 (invoice date 14th) with a product registration code generated if not mistaken. I used the link @TOMEI-R provided few days back.

sounds like a lame excuse to me. Even sony sunway need to build a sequence via google form to determine each queue number. Perhaps they can filter via their POS system one la under PS5 product and check invoice number i assume. Either lazy, manager instructed not too or dont know how haha. I might be completely wrong ya.

My extra dualsense also on the same invoice/receipt.

bro second batch over already. Happened on the 8th. You might want to stay tuned to lazada or shopee fb though. Maybe sony MY official might have more units available soon february I am not too sure. They just did on both websites last week.

considering all the circumstances happening around the world, the manufacturing date to logistic to resellers to collection date for us in malaysia to be honest is quite fast. lead time around 1-1.5 months after manufacturing date based on our case.

yes indeed bro. But this ps5 boxes are huge and heavy. I have my ps4 day one box side by side. I would say more than 2 times the volume of space needed for
1 ps5 shipped in shipping container...
