from this comparison, it looks like IS does a lot better than having a better IQ
a630 has 1/1.8 while a710IS has a 1/2.5
still wondering IS or not
Some may say, must be skill and have steady hands to get good shots.
However, I disagree because it's the photo that matters. As long if the outcome of the photo is good then we should be happy.
IS may possibly help save the best shot in your lifetime.
In my opinion, just get a cam with IS.
