Hi guys. Just get my iPhone 12 few days ago. So i wanna know the correct way to charge my phone. What is the correct battery level so start to charge my phone? 20-30%?

And is it charge the iphone to 100% in not good for the battery? Should i disconnect the cable between 80-90%?

What about overnight charging? Not good also?

We're going 2021 very soon. Don't let the battery control your enjoyment of your live. Just charge when needed... for example if you plan to go out for the whole day, whether the battery is 10% or 40% just charge to full and go out to enjoy the phone: play games, gps, photo/video etc...

Iphone has a special feature that monitor your charging habit... it will automatically slow charge when reach 90% and stop charge when 100%. normally i will charge overnight and it can last me the next full day.

Another info, my 2 yo iphone XR battery life is still 88% where as my huawei one is dead (last less than 6 hrs) and changed already.

hope it helps

Just use your phone as you please.
No point getting nervous with the battery life and you cant enjoy the phone you paid.

Charge to 100% and disconnect charger. Charge anytime you want. Just don't keep on charging and play your games when the battery is already at 100%.

Most modern phones have mechanisms that prevent them from overcharging even if you leave the charger in overnight. There's evidence that such a practice may degrade the battery in the long run, but that's a different discussion.

I don’t understand why you all so OCD about charging style and pattern. Just charge whenever your battery is low, buy a good charger and cable and you will be fine. Don’t so paranoid with charging style or habit, battery will degrade over time, its consider wear and tear hardware. I’m been charging my samsung and apple device overnight for years , they never explode or broke down or over heat. If my Samsung battery can charge overnight I believe apple product battery can do it also since apple master race is always numbawan.
My iPhone 12 pro max also charge overnight with 20W charger since day one, just avoid cheap charger and cable then you should be fine.

To me , the most important thing is to charge the phone when the phone temperature is low, especially when using fast charge , I will not use the phone when it's charging . If want to use the phone while charging I will use the lower voltage iPad charger . After some intense usage example GPS or gaming, can feel the phone is hot . Let the phone cool down then only proceed to charhing

lithium ion batteries have come a long way since the first time they were included in a mass marketed cellphone. i can still remember very vividly that my parent's Motorola Microtac came with a battery discharge accessory to "deplete" the battery first before actually putting it on charge.

just charge your phone whenever you want, wherever you want and for how long you want and whatever harm that it may cause, it will definitely outlast the functionality of your phone.

Normally charge when it reaches 50 plus around evening becos I know that beast is gonna have to last me till midnite. No habit or charging overnite here. Normally around 7am when i wake up, i drop it on my wireless charger that brings it to around 90 plus then the next cycle continues.
