My main machine is on Win 11 Dev. Only my father is reluctant to upgrade beyond Win 7, maybe because he was familiar, and the specs is also the bare minimum to support Win 10 (Intel 2nd gen?)
There's nothing too important on it, just basic browsing. So, if any ransonware kena, I'll just wipe and reinstall.

newer browser such as Forefox and Chrome always has the latest update, so Win7 is still good to go, but they dropped support on XP.
Also there's always a linux flavor, if people using PC just browsing, then OS does not really matters, a lot of distro made the UX user friendly and even more customizable than Windows counterpart.
