QUOTE(doublef @ Dec 7 2020, 07:27 PM) You should’ve used apple online store. You would’ve received the phone already by now. Still not too late to order now and receive by Christmas https://www.apple.com/my/shop/buy-iphone/ip...gb-pacific-blue |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 2 2021, 12:44 AM) Is there any way for me to see if the SMS is for SIM 1 or 2? On Android phones, it will have indication but I think iOS won’t show, just mix everything together.. Though SMS can be irrelevant these days but I just wanna see those spam SMSes were for which no. Yes there is as below - it changes to show which sim is it coming from - I set mine as Business (sim) and Personal (esim)![]() |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 2 2021, 01:37 PM) Thanks but I noticed something. Actually you can - press on “>” and then press on the “info” button on top, and you can see what line is it using for the conversationI think I got how it works now. If one particular sender is always for business or personal, it will not indicate from the beginning unless in between another no. also receives messages from the same sender, then only it will indicate. Still not convenient unless you know from the beginning it’s for which no., and I won’t know like for instance gambling spam messages are sent to which no. Example this spam message that has no indication: ![]() This post has been edited by isr25: Jan 2 2021, 03:09 PM |

Anyone else has their iPhone 12 PM suddenly have a blue tinge on their screen? It only goes away after you lock the screen & turn the screen on again. It's not software as if you screenshot it, it's perfectly normal.

QUOTE(alexleow81 @ Feb 28 2021, 10:29 PM) Anybody here using e-sim for iPhone 12 pro max? My concern is: No discernable difference. Using both physical & e-sim, and my battery life remains the same as just using 1 sim.E-Sim, will it have a different coverage compared to physical Sim? E-Sim, will it drain the battery fast? I am on DiGi, still using physical SIM, planning to try. |

QUOTE(mr-2 @ Mar 30 2021, 09:36 AM) Hi, I just got my iPhone 12 Pro yesterday. Upgraded from an iPhone 8+. The first thing I notice using a day is the heat is quite apparent from the back cover. Whether I have case on or not. Is this common or my unit battery is acting up? It still can last a day usage without a problem. I do not have this problem on my older iPhone. If you just upgraded, it's kind of normal as background processing & indexing. If 2 days, better close all apps in the background + turn off the phone, then turn it back on again. There might be a background process that was stuck and causing battery drain. |

QUOTE(zc_squash @ Aug 9 2021, 10:52 PM) Ah I think you misunderstood. I know what optimised charging is. My question was how long did it take before your iPhone recognises your charging habit for it to start “intelligently” charge the battery. iirc, it took mine 3 days for it to recognise my charging habit pattern. They only recognise if you charge on a set period e.g. overnight, or between 5am to 8am on a daily basis.I’ve had my phone for a week and a bit but it still charges to 100% without pausing at 80%. My battery life is showing 91%, but I don't feel any difference in the battery life deteriorating though. Still getting a full day of use (6am to 10pm). Not 100% playing Genshin Impact of course... |

Had my first fall on the road on my iPhone 12 Pro Max with Hoda TG + Apple Leather case. iPhone survived without any damage. Leather case was nicked in a few places, but generally 90% ok. TG was fine too.

My iPhone 12 Pro Max battery life is 83% - it has been that way for the past 6 months. I’m waiting for iPhone 15 to replace it, so was thinking to replace the iP12 battery to extend the life.
Anybody did this already? How much is the cost? |

QUOTE(dikae @ Sep 30 2022, 10:21 AM) its their standard SOP to only accept phones that were wiped off, so they make you erase everything before sending it in.. Thanks! Just tried to call a local service centre (Switch) - they offered RM380 and will complete the work within 2-3 hours if I send in by 12pm. Will send tomorrow. Thanks again! |

Just to share my experience - backed up my entire phone to iCloud including photo library. around 35GB photo and 12GB app data. Total 8000 photos + videos - this took around 6 hours of time to upload on a 800/200Mbps UniFi.
Went to Switch Eko Botani in JB at 10am, was told it will take 2-3 hours. They ran diagnostics on the phone and confirmed that the battery is still usable at 83% max capacity at 665 cycles. I confirmed that I still want to change it at RM380. I left the service centre roughly 10:15am and went to a nearby kopitiam to wait. Came back at 11:40am to wait at Switch, and the battery exchange has already completed. I started the restore process roughly 12:30pm and it only fully completed at 1030pm. Most apps were already usable by 4pm, but somehow Whatsapp, Whatsapp for Business, Reddit and Microsoft Teams took the longest time to restore. One happy bit was they didn't remove my tempered glass - they informed that if they couldn't safely remove the screen to access the battery, they would've removed it. |
