Actually to solve this issue, all Apple has to do is remove that battery health percentage. No other Android phones provide this info.

The battery health came about because of the sudden shutdown of iPhones. Irony.

Well don’t disagree lower w, is better in a sense. Just use it. RM450 to change battery. Can’t afford iPhone, battery can afford. I raised earlier, just comparing with past iPhones only and whether it is norm for everyone as well.

It is a new stuff, I think only launched on 1st Oct. Anyway, on second thought I will probably go for reseller set next time, I don't need expensive postpaid plan anymore in the future. Might as well buy it outright from reseller and if I want can opt for the usual 12 months installment plan.

If like this I can change iPhone every year.
I do have another issue though, my current AirSIM for AW is tied to this expensive Digi PF365 plan because my Amb0 is not eligible for AirSIM. Let me think how to settle this issue next year.

I see.. So I need to be prepared that I may not get on day 1.

For me I will stick to sim card and will use visiting country prepaid esim when I am oversea.

Very lucky for you and I think you are the only one here who still manages to maintain such high battery health, mine already dropped to 86% and tomorrow is just 1 year old. 
Really wish it drops to below 80% so that I can get rid of the battery and change a new one.
By the way, has anyone changed iPhone battery in the past, do we really need to leave our phone there for at least one day? I don't have any spare phone or iPhone to use temporarily.

Good to hear this but due to pandemic, everything needs appointment. 3 hours is fine with me. 

Warranty ends today for me.

by the way, what mode of charging have you been using (wireless, fast charge or slow charge)?.

i noticed that when i was using the 20W charger, the battery % drops significantly faster compared to when i was using the 5W.

how do you check charge cycle ?

Mine is OK though I don't receive WhatsApp calls frequently but it works.
Anyway, it is finally 2022. So it is time to change to new iPhone this year.

I’m happy to report that I managed to get the battery changed at Switch Seremban 2. My eSIM is also intact because I got to choose to keep my eSIM before deletion. Phone took a while (30-40 minutes) to restore to get into the main screen, it’s still restoring now as I’m typing here.

However, the experience of changing this battery wasn’t exactly smooth. The young lady who attended to my phone at first refused my battery replacement service because it hasn’t dropped below 80? She said must be at least 79%. Mine was at 81% and she said Apple won’t allow because it still didn’t appear the notice to ask me to get it replaced. I told her my phone has been stuck at 81% for months and in order to drop to 79% I probably need another one year.

Then, I told her I am going for a vacation soon so I need to ensure it’s working well and I don’t need to bring a power bank wherever I go. She reluctantly asked me to run the diagnostic test and said if my phone failed the test then she will proceed with the battery replacement.

While waiting for the test to complete, he asked his another colleague to attend to me instead. Maybe I was really difficult to deal with but I swear I haven’t raised my voice yet. This young guy is superb and he immediately agreed to my request and helped me with everything. Unfortunately, my screen protector was also removed before can send in for fixing. I collected my phone 3 hours later.
