Contacted Apple twice, first person asked me to send my phone to authorised service center,2nd person asked me to wait for another update to see of the message is still there... doh.gif

Possible to bring to Machine service centre? Better to get clarification in person. Not a cheap device.

How’s your iphone 12 pro/max holding up thus far? Still pristine? My silicone case is giving my toy a fairly good protection and gentle to all corners and rim when removing. But I’m a bit bored of it now hence planning to switch to other cases but fear of scuffs (even micro scuffs) caused by harder cases especially when u remove it for wiping. I wipe my phone once every 2 weeks. What cases do you recommend (besides silicone or leather cases) which will not cause scuff to phone when removing? I dislike those tight ones.

I wipe once a month. Sides are still good just that volume button and speaker/charing port area already have micro scuff..

My charging port still ‘virgin’. Using wireless charger since day 1

Anyone tried the CASEIER magnetic powerbank? Is it a real deal? Is the magnet suction strong enough with case without magsafe?

Still thinking whether to upgrade to 13PM or to get iPad Mini 6. What's your take folks?

I am leaning towards that too.

It’s not normal for iphone but in your case, yes it’s normal on the iPhone 12 lineups, it has been reported massively that most iPhone 12 users are going through the same issue with battery health dropping rapidly (even affecting those with minimal usage), a lot of us here already see 85-88% within a year of use..never has this happened in any of the previous model (from iPhone X to 11), hopefully won’t affect the 13’s as well dry.gif

Did you charge using magsafe? I heard it can get quite warm with magsafe. Could that be affecting battery health?

Wife’s secondary phone ip12PM use an hour a day, charge once every 3-4 days, no calls made, normal cable and stock adapter from iPhone 11, pretty minimal use, after a year at 90% sweat.gif that tells something

Mine was 99% when I sold off this Tues. Wife’s is at 98% now. Both units bought during launch day. But I charge in air conditioned room la.

lucky you, last year's iphone 12 battery was quite bad for most people, sigh

Rule of thumb, don’t charge overnite, don’t let battery heat up

Warranty expires today.

Battery health is at 93%.

I still remember my iPhone 7 dropped to 80% after 3.5 years of usage.

12 Pro Max with far bigger battery dropped quicker than the small one on iPhone 7. Sigh...

Hope that my iPhone 13 mini can last me long enough. Heard that there won’t be a new mini next year. This should be my phone for the next few years until the next mini iteration
