QUOTE(mycolumn @ Dec 28 2020, 10:24 PM) My first one is a Uniq transparent case (didn't really like this much because it makes the phone thick) 2nd is a Slim Case. Dun like it much as well because of the frosted back 😅 3rd is Apple silicone case. This one not bad. But then, i was researching on iPhone casings and come across leather casing patina. Which brings me to my 4th case. 4th : Apple leather case. By far the best casing for my phone. Which case offers best protection? I’m using silicone case now. Like the smooth feel of silicone case. Protection wise, not too sure. Have had Nilkin, Baseus, Switcheasy and OEM Apple case. May consider something else if it feels nice and protects well.

QUOTE(mycolumn @ Dec 28 2020, 10:32 PM) Best protection i will say the Uniq one. But sacrifice on looks. I see. I’m looking at a balance between aesthetic and protection. SwitchEasy says if offers 360 degree drop protection for up to 1.2 meter. It’s using same material as Apple Silicone case. That’s why I’m sticking to it for now. Apple leather case is tempting me real bad. Quite expensive though and protection is unknown. Such expensive case also means I cannot change case for a while. Hefty investment. I kinda like to give my toy a new look once in a while hence the dilemma. This post has been edited by giovanni: Dec 28 2020, 10:40 PM

QUOTE(mycolumn @ Dec 28 2020, 10:42 PM) For me, the Apple leather case protection is quite good. It is not as slim as Slim Case, not as thick as the Uniq. It wraps around the whole phone too. Any microfibre cloth padding inside the leather case? I mean all the corners.

QUOTE(attw @ Dec 29 2020, 08:51 AM) Two so far with one on the way, haha.. Bought a temporary RM8 case from Ninjaz while waiting for 12.12 sale, then bought UAG Civilian during the 12.12 sale. Ordered a Nomad leather case directly from US but that won’t get here till February next year How does the RM8 case look like?😜

QUOTE(wiind @ Dec 29 2020, 09:05 PM) Hi all, does anyone experience a weird behaviour where notifications from Grab app are delivered silently, despite having enabled all notification and sound settings? All my apps are working properly except Grab.🤔 Same issues here

QUOTE(cyapd @ Dec 31 2020, 06:25 PM) Faster buy the case. My son just dropped my phone from upstairs down on the floor at lower floor at home. Heartbeat stopped for a few seconds. On the other hand, The mous CF is a beast when it comes to drop test and proven on real world usage. Lolol. The phone is totally fine tho. Heck, even the case didn’t suffer any scuffs let alone dents. Wow. Your son very ganas wei

QUOTE(yvliew @ Jan 1 2021, 04:51 PM) Happy New year~ early morning had an accident.. tripped and fell down holding the phone.. Quite a knock.. Lucky case and TG protected the screen... Ouch. Glad that your 📱 is fine. Goes to show that Apple leather case does offer good protection. Wise purchase.

QUOTE(netken @ Jan 3 2021, 09:24 AM) Guys - do u realised the pro max volume buttons and power buttons start to have abit more freeplay? Not left to right but more vertically up and down .... Especially the mute button switch, whether on or off, the switch is abit more jiggly vertically (up and down) but not as bad if u shake the phone, it doesnt rattle though. My are still quite stiff. Having said that, I use virtual button on a regular basis, physical ones only occasionally.

QUOTE(ss1st @ Jan 9 2021, 01:31 AM) Placed an order at Celcom Blue Cube Alamanda for Pro 512GB Pacific Blue on 5th Dec. Walked in the same place again on 5th Jan to change my order to Pro 256GB Graphite and got a call 2 days later asked me to pick up my order. Finally got myself an iPhone after so many years since my last iPhone 5. And then I found out Lowyat Forum does not have a iOS app 🤦🏻♂️ There’s a function called ‘add to homescreen’ in your safari

QUOTE(pot-8-O's @ Jan 9 2021, 08:32 PM) That's what I thought. Looks like I'll need to call up the bank instead, thought there might be an agreement between the retailers and bank beforehand because I've noticed not all the banks provide installment plans. I did some research earlier (YouTube comparison vids) on the iPhone12 & Pro. Seems like other than a few upgrades and notably the battery life that last longer on the 12 instead of pro. How's the battery usage been like on your 12Pro from a personal experience I saw a few youtube battery test reviews showing pro version to have longer SOT though 🤔

QUOTE(neome @ Jan 23 2021, 03:48 PM) This is not normal, I would bring it to Apple service centre to have it checked. Just did a restart and turn off all apps in the background. Seems fine now since i left it there to test one afternoon. Draining 2% from 12pm to 6pm while idling. Did turn on occasionally to check on text and reply. Will observe further tonite. Happy to report a 2% overnight battery drain while phone was idling. A restart did the trick.

QUOTE(fnarkaizho @ Jan 26 2021, 03:43 PM) If I’m not mistaken, you’ll only get it once per id. Btw, anyone tried any iPhone case from switcheasy? I’m using SwitchEasy silicone case. Y?

QUOTE(fnarkaizho @ Jan 27 2021, 01:50 PM) I’m interested with their mageasy clear cases but since haven’t tried their cases before, so doubt a lil bit. The silicone case is good quality. The silicone material is similar to Apple’s. Not sure about the clear case though.

QUOTE(ywyap @ Jan 28 2021, 01:35 PM) I have updated and saw this in my iPhone setting. What does this means? Reach out to Apple to address this issue. Could be or software glitch or they have to address the non genuine part in a new phone
