I think you’ll have to compare the 128GB iPhone 12 with the 12 Pro to be fair, and that’s a RM800 difference there for an additional telephoto lens, LiDAR sensor, extra 2GB RAM and that stunning matte glass back like you said - oh, and the stainless steel frames. So you’ll have to work out if those upgrades are worth the RM800 extra.

I recently bought a used iPhone 6S to replace a busted one and the seller gave me an ori Apple leather casing with the phone that’s about 4 or 5 years and it didn’t look like it had those kinda issues on the edges. Could it be a defect? Hmm, well, like you said, luckily you didn’t pay for the case

The Nomad one isn’t fully leather due to the rubbery sides so I’m guessing it probably won’t have that issue around the edges It does scratch easily and there are visible water marks here and there on it though, but that’s probably one of the characteristics of leather? Not sure as this is my first (and could very well be my last) leather case, hehehe...

Agreed, when I read about the Nomad buttons not being tactile enough I had some concerns but I find it to be fine after using it for about three weeks now. It’s probably not as “clicky” as some would prefer, but it’s alright for me.

Obviously the battery life of the Pro Max will be better than the Pro as it has a bigger battery. Most reviewers said the difference in the camera is very minimal though, not really distinguishable in most cases.

I have taken numerous selfies and portrait shots on my iPhone 12 and they have not turned out like the photos you shared. I do agree Samsung phones have done a great job in toning down on the beautify/smoothing of skin appearance on selfies but my last Samsung flagship was the Note 10+ and haven't tried the S20 or Note 20 series yet. Have half an eye on the S21 range but will wait for the price to drop. On your point I agree - to each his own. Color reproduction is a personal preference.

I've not subscribed to Apple Music yet so I've been using it with just podcasts and it works fine but it's a bit cumbersome, as it is with most Apple toys. You'll have to download it to your phone first and sync it to your watch. Will wait for your feedback once you start using it

Oh, I will add that being an 80s kid, I've always dreamt of talking to someone on my watch like James Bond, but the experience is rather underwhelming

Go to the Watch app on your phone and switch off the notifications you don’t wanna see on your watch and keep it to your phone by turning off the notifications for apps under “MIRROR PHONE ALERTS FROM:”. Otherwise notifications will go to the watch first unless you happen to be using the phone. Well, that works for me anyways
