I'm glad some people get their iPhone 12's models on hand ever since available in Malaysia like has been using it for few weeks already and admire those rich people like keep planning and buying new cases and MagSafe, even I re-watched x3000 thousands times (Apple announce iPhone 12 and unboxing videos on Youtube) can't help but seeing them everywhere

Was planned to get my IP12Pro with Digi telco and receive the device right before Christmas.

I'm now should've prepare my emotions and lower my expectation than what I was planned at first place. So that I won't get disappointed and sad when Christmas time.

though, I am waiting like a month for the device and I got 0% updates on my IP12Pro device with Digi Telco.

2 weeks plus later gonna be Christmas season and new year comingg. (Which means it will have public holiday)

Due to the covid and affecting the cargo shipping and deliveries. (Plus shortage of stock)

Can't help but just go with the flow and watch you guys guessing which cases are good

have been wanted to change phone ever since iPhone 11 came out. (Last year) but I have decided to waited for 12.

iPhone 6 (64GB) been using it for 5 years here tho (Battery + very lag problem) if you know what my emotions are feeling right now.

If can’t wait, why not just get it off retail which most should have stock? I just walk in to SenHeng, asked for stock for 12 Pro Max blue 256gb and less than 10 minutes walk out with the phone already.

I'm away from KL at the moment, my area here doesn't have those retailers like Machines or SenHeng. But they do have other retailers that sell just for the phone but (Full payment) or other telco like Maxis (but limited stock, colors/capacity does not or may not suits to what I prefer).

Plus, I signed up and paid for Digi business which saves RM3000 total amount of the phone because of the government are helping out SME business Digi lines. Why would I need to spend RM 5,399.00 (Full amount) instead, I can save RM3000 and just pay upfront payment for the rest (which is really a good deal) but i am just get too frustration and impatient tired of waiting because I'm using an old iPhone 6 (64GB) im like a photography person so I can't gaming on my phone and each time I have to offload many apps and backup my photos from phone and delete them (From time to time)

The plan was switched to the expected plan but there is 0% updates on my iPhone 12 Pro (256GB) Pacific Blue. Totally no emails, no notifications or updates regarding my device. There is no any other ways for me to keep track.

(When stock available, it deliver the device from KL Digi, directly delivers to the company address which stated early of signing up the business line, it cannot be change or amendment, the company which is in my current area now. But soon i am planning to flying back to KL. If i don't get my device on time by the time I fly back to KL. How am I suppose to change my phone) *This is kinda like personal so you might not know what I was planned

You will need to follow up with Digi if it’s not playing its part well. We really cannot advise you further but we feel your frustration. As for me, normal Digi user and I’m happy with it. Got my phone on day 1, with discounts as well. So no complaint and 0 upfront payment.

I would be extra careful to put my credit card/debit card here if i am you.  promised their ori wallet will not mess with card magnetic. Not sure about these cheaper version. Anyhow im sure you already thought about this. Please share us your review

no worry. already tried putting card in there. no issue (tried paywave). Magnetic stripe? Never used it for so many years. parking card also.. no issue.

Unofficial review of my iPhone 12 cases:

After using the cases I bought, I can review them now.

1. RhinoShield Mod NX - 8.5/10

Sleek and firm grip due to the material of the bumper made with plastic but doesn't slip through my fingers.

I chose the backplate option because I like customizability and options plus their designs are nice. Plus, with the backplate, it offers a little more protection and you can easily wipe dirt or smudges off it.

Only thing that bothers me is the buttons/tactile feedback, they don't pop out so in order to press the volume up/down and power button, you have to apply some force there.


2. Nomad Rugged Leather Case - 9/10

My first leather case of all the phones I owned before. Another case which has a nice feel and smell to it because despite the back being leather, it's also smooth and the side is made from plastic but it has good grip too.

Quite protective but not scratch resistant because the leather back is prone to scratches. It's not bulky too so it won't feel so big on your hands.

The buttons/tactile feedback are the same as RhinoShield because it's also hard to press as well.


3. Mous Limitless 3.0 - 9/10

Bought this due to the influence of several forumers and from reviews.

As with the cases above, the grip is firm and solid because this is the most protective among the 3.

I chose the Aramid Fiber case because I like carbon fiber and this is a similar but not the same material because Aramid is much tougher and durable.

It's bulkier than the other 2 cases but I don't mind because I'm not worried if I drop the phone. However, the buttons/tactile feedback is great, I don't have to apply pressure at all because the button cut outs pop out.


In a nutshell, I like all the cases above but my favourite is the Nomad.

Not so soon la..

Got my ESR leather case yesterday.
Leather feel a bit rough, but still feel a abit slippery while handling the phone.
The buttons is prominent with good tactile feed back, but my volume buttons is uneven.
The camera hole is just slightly thicker than the camera bump itself.
Overall, cant complaint much for a leather case less than rm50

tried to charge my ipong12 via laptop but cannot. don't think my cable is faulty as i can charge my other ipong. anyone has the same issue?

are you using the original apple cable?
dunno so far i'm using UGREEN / Aukey / Original apple cables all can connect to laptop (itunes) and charge
