Been there done that. Also stopped drinking for a month, back to normal. Once awhile drink single malt ok, no weekly beer or whisky binges.

Mine also in beginning then I reduced weight and waist from 36 to 32, later stopped football nite drinking also. Being overweight and love of seafood, overworked, under sleep doesn’t help. Living a healthy life does.

Losing waist size is more significant than weight as muscle will take over fats. But you need to lead a healthy life.
