Use credit card to top up e-wallet.
Also to get lounge access at airport.

- can use oversea.

- cash back from credit card sometimes is better.

- almost all places that accept ewallet, accept visa/mastercard. but not all places that accept visa/mastercard, accept ewallet.

credit card can buy things with zero interest installment

affin duo reload e wallet got 3% cashback

a lot campaigns to earn this and that, depend on what card you get and how many.

low utilization and good payment record can help build ur credit score, like ccris

most important is serve as a source of emergency money

reward points.

also increase credit score if u are good paymaster. all those e wallets won't do that.

and you have access to 0% EPP (installment plan) that were exclusive on credit cards.

Best thing about using cc for me is consumer protection. Whenever I buy something online, I always use cc. If the seller screw me, or Shopee/Lazada doesn't want to entertain my refund request, I can just dispute the transaction with the bank. They will take a few days or weeks depending on case, before reverting the transaction. In the mean time you still have your money (unlike if you use debit card). I see a lot of threads here where people complain about Shopee/Lazads that can be easily avoided by using cc.

But I would advice you to avoid cc like the plague if you cannot commit in paying full every month.

Not everywhere currently or will accept e-wallets.

Also credit card can help you establish a credit score, especially if you have no history.

Cards are so much easier at supermarkets or when your hands are full. No need to fiddle with your phone. Just wave and go.

you no need deposite money on CC instead bank pay it first, good for ppl who smart on exploiting cash flow control.

you can stop/on hold any fault transaction and reduced risk your money being burnt from such inciddent

If you don't know why CC is good, you need to read about it more.

1. Better protection.
2. More reliable.
3. Worldwide use.
4. Perks and Benefit.
5. Sign Up Benefit.
6. Credit Score.
7. Cash Back + Points (on top of benefits and sign up benefits)
8. Easy Instalment Plans (0%)

not all card

need supporting merchant and supporting banks.

maybank is the most common card with EPP out there.

most online shopping platforms like lazada/shoppee supports it. when you want to check out, you can choose that payment option.

ewallet you spend 1 million also won't improve your credit rating

also those ewallets are pretty much local only. Credit card can use in any country.
