The best is you get to use other people's money (on credit) for a month and on the same time get rewarded and protection. Of course this only work if you pay in full on time every month. Prefer cc anytime over ewallet

Sorry what's dis 0% installment u guys are talking about? All cards got this feature automatically? Or need partner up with retail outlets?
*
Nobody seems to answering you want this so:

0% installment meaning you could opt to pay your certain credit card purchase in installment manner without interest charge on you.

Mostly all cards have this feature, but you better double check.

No, they don't have to partner with retail outlets. You just need to call up your credit card service after you made the purchase, and tell them you wish to make it an installment for the purchase you just made.

But some banks may have an amount range that entitle the 0% interest. Any amount outside the range may charge you a little interest upfront. (1~3% maybe).

If any merchant can give a better cash price over cc, using cash is better option.....otherwise just use free credit.

E-wallet still not accepted everywhere and way too many players, vs few major payment networks like Visa, Mastercard etc., senang to make international payment.
To me, CC is really good to have, when used correctly, really a good leverage + give some benefits

CC banks like big spender and they encourage holders to spend. Keeping cards in wallet dont make money for them.

A credit card saves you from all the inconvenience of paying big bills such as hospital, car workshop, etc.
I dont think you can pay hospital bill of 10k with TNG or boost, can you?

It also protects you from fraud.
You can easily launch a dispute and the bank will do the bidding for you.
The merchant betul2 have to reply and provide full detail of the purchase to the bank.
It is better than you cry and viral the merchant and still get nothing back.

Using a credit card to make online purchases is better than using online purse or debit card.

1. Fraud protection. You can dispute the charge and bank will investigate and refund you if valid.
2. The money doesn't leave your account immediately unlike debit card.
3. If your debit card details are stolen and your card is misused bank won't refund you the money as the money has already left your account.
4. Keeping a lot of money in your online purse attracts no interest. The money has effectively left your account even before you purchase.
5. Credit cards have promotions and freebies for regular users.
6. Possible to pay by instalments with credit card.
7. If you go overseas you can use your credit card.
8. Build up your credit rating with prompt cc payments.

But if you are not financially disciplined and tend to overspend and accumulate debt, better not to have a credit card.

If you don't use credit card, bank will reject all your loans.
