I use Grab Food regularly - weekly. The selections are great. Many with some discounts. Some really good ones available. Customer service/refund is prompt and great when they screw up your order.

On the other hand, I find FoodPanda is crap. I have never used it. The selections are mainly fast or junk foods. Terrible search function as I can’t find the restaurants I want. First time set up already told me that I seem to be “far away” and I live in KL address!

Any one has similar or different experience?

Grab food is crap...min spend is too high if u want to use the discounts..

Food panda is much better...

Prefer food panda....grab no dekstop app last i used...

Yup fp only within 5 6 km my area, which is lots of halal food. Not to say i don't eat that, but need more choice sometimes. Gf can till 20 km even halal food better far away

foodpanda more suitable for 1-2 ppl order

grab food min spend is high and overall delivery fee is higher than fp as well

I have the app. Can’t find the restaurant despite it was telling me with fp. Set up address already told you that you are far away. Hardly good customer experience.

Yep. Foodpanda is cheaper overall. Both selection more or less the same. Grab got far away restaurant. so far away, food reach you also not nice already.

Btw, I use fp more. Most of times their delivery fees are cheaper. Also, grab sometimes delivery by car, which I hate most. Jam+air con, sampai pun dah sejuk

There is such a thing as try to use. Bad user experience. Moreover I can’t find restaurants that I like in fp. I don’t need to order to have bad experience. Plus the address set up is a turn off

I use foodpandan for takeaway option, if ngam I also do the challenge thing can get vouchers, they sometimes gib vouchers for free also, last time I got 3 random vouchers RM 10 off for min RM 20 spend, okay lah, their app UI is clearly inferior, but their offers are better in my opinion and usually can get some cheaper compared to walk in price.

Grab food customer service is a lot better no doubt, the search works miles better and they compensate immediately. I see foodpandan fb page also worried about ordering delivery, so many unfulfilled orders and impossible to get refund, grab within 24 hours got customer service can get refund.

Food panda got self pickup.

service wise, grabfood is much much better. you will feel lesser frustration when ordering from grabfood.

but price, promo and restaurant selection wise, foodpanda more. from big shop to road side mamak stall also got..

I now understand. People prefer cheap as sole criteria. If cheap is the only criteria I will go out to buy myself.

FP improving. Used to be crap last year. Still buggy app and CS is very weak. Still they're more affordable.

Grab is the best in service, quality, etc. Just pricey but many coupons.

Food Panda used to be the absolute worst of worst...

But late 2019 they improved significantly.

Then pandemic year this year - - yet to fail me even once!

Previously kena wrong order, order cancelled last minute, delayed, claim the price is higher and I pay more.

Foodpanda app is really bad compared to Grab.

Last time I used to order 1 food to pickup.

When I want to pickup the order, they said they didn't received the order, they tried to refresh the food panda mobile phone, suddenly my order comes in.

Other thing is transaction keep failed, cannot proceed and many more issues.

End up I uninstalled the app
