I was once issued a saman when the police supposedly caught me running a red light. They even had pictures of me doing so. The police car was behind me. So i went to the balai to see the Sargent. They showed me the pictures. The pictures showed my car moving (I was turning to the left junction) and the police car going straight a - the traffic light turns green in unison. So I told him, if it was a red how come the police car was moving forward as well (can see from the different camera angles). He dismissed it at first. Then I went back to the balai a few more times. And eventually they strike off the saman. If you are right just fight it.
