it kinda wrong la say after put subwoofer suddenly ur front speaker become clearer... even thou it happened that way..

my guess is,

whoever install ur HU did make some adjustment to boost the bass on ur front speaker. then u pasang kuat2 until the speaker semput2 clipping. u should lower the bass setting if u like to listen very loud.

when u install the underseat sub, the installer reset back sound setting on ur HU, from flat perhaps he just slightly up the tweeter freq a bit. then direct all the bass freq to ur sub.

thus u hear the clearer effect. which u can gain urself by adjusting ur HU without adding the subs but then no bass sound la.

rm850 is a lot of money. on used market can get decent amp + 12" sub + wiring & upah pasang. lagi syok ohh.

Yeah kinda overspeat a bit haha. Nvm la as long as i puas. Actually i just want the blaupunkt gtr 110 sub, then kena poison by nakamichi sub. The shops i went to say nakamichi sub bass tighter. Then test two namamichi sub 8 inch 80w rsm and 10inch 150w rsm. 8 inch is ok but it looks puny..so for just extra rm150, ok la take the bigger one. I will swap it over to my proton x50 when i buy it next year anyway. Now monitoring x50 fb page see got major problems or not for 6 months to 1 year

Oh yeah i want my boot space. Weekends i transport stuff to and from my laundry shop.
*
blaupunkt used to be a decent brand long time ago but now went downhill. as for nakamichi i dont think its made in jpn anymore. brand wise should be better than blaupunkt. thats why i always opted for oldschool stuff usually made in us or jpn. much cheaper than latest stuff made in us/france. but used item comes with reliability issue. nasib la. also i like to diy my own system.

for non diy-er like urself, & summore happy with ur buy, good la. summore can save boot space.

my 1st time into car audio. go kedai accs that ppl recommend, spent 1.5k for HU, front coaxial, 4ch amp & 12" sub. its loud but the quality so-so nia. even the power cable from battery not even pure copper. its the sampah copper clad aluminium (CCA). just recently found out after i dismantle everything.

im a bit skeptical bout this but i'll try to keep an open mind since my kenwood HU radio signal also so-so nia. wonder it can cure it.

I am not sure ne...i paid rm850.

Lazada rm600 + delivery rm10 + wires, fuse i need rm40.

So its rm200 for installation and tuning. But this guy memang tune la. He sit inside very long in the car and quite a few times he change my sub and my hu settings. And the whole time i was there so yeAh he not just sleep in my car during the tuning.
*
Rm200 sounds about right since installation + tuning. installation kuli biasa bole buat but tuning must at least audiophile kinda guy. usually the bos / owner or seasoned staff. it really took sometime coz need to match the clipping point between the sub & speakers. summore need to tune the sub to sound like its coming from the door speaker/everywhere. if u can locate the subs location when listening to music, the installer fail big time. for me this is the hardest task to achieve. be it in car audio or home stereo system (bookshelf speaker + sub setup).

somehow the fm radio becum clearer
*
perhaps the voltage stabilizer circuitry really lower the noise level coming from the alternator. thus making the signal clearer. since its cheap, i might try it. thanks for the input.

im thinking to do the BIG 3 or 4 upgrade. using pure copper welding cable is the cheapest solution. most people who did the upgrade said can feel the different in power. smoother ride & less or no noise signal at all. need to fork rm100-150 for big ass pure cooper cable & lug. then sendiri pasang.

Yeah sony and blaupunkt went downhill already. Since i am not buying high end stuff, i choose nakamichi je. My iniital plan is cheapo blaupunkt sub, then uprade to blaupunkt gtr110, but the installer said the blaupunkt gtr110 some have issue of sapping the car battery so he no longet take in the stock.

Mine also is sampah aluminium cable huhu. For that price...i dont think can expect full copper la.
*
honestly i cant afford audio grade oxygen free copper (OFC) cable. 1 meter 4awg size already cost rm40-50 brand biasa2 oni. after long research on net, i decided to buy pure copper welding cable 00awg size rm23 per meter. big ass cable. almost like getah paip air. laugh.gif

its not super flexible like the audio cable but the jacket/skin got double layer. can stand high heat. too bad malaysian welding cable not yet move to ofc standard like usa. anyhow, for the size & price, damn worth it.

I think needs 3m only kot. But nah lossness for aluminim+copper audio cables are around 15-20%, pure oxygen free copper is around 1%.. boleh la aluminlum also as long as my ears are happy haha
*
IIRC, you need to double the size of CCA for the same performance on pure copper wire. u also get twice the heat from CCA. every strand of CCA wire made from aluminium. only the outer layer of each invidual strand covered with copper. so CCA is a big no-no for me.

but if ur ears are happy, any wire aso can la.. laugh.gif
