at sarawak, from 1 district to another is very far...it's not cost effective/efficient to do so unlike sabah
sabah 1 district to another is quite close
having hub somewhere and controlling your logistic is how 99speedmart can keep cost low

reason some super/hypermarket do not enter S&S market is because the market here is different than WM
less populated, distance between district is further, spending power is way lower, logistics and transportation cost which add up the cost price

giant entered before and doing good at 1st and now look at where they are now
other WM supermarket like tesco, cold storage, NSK don't even dare to enter S&S because of the same reason
