Logistics is a nightmare n expensive. Not suited to their low cost business model

but there is MrDIY and 7-11

MrDIY is not cheap if u compare with those super cheap chinese stores in sarawak (eg: 100% Discount Store, 688中国风). dunno why peninsular people think MrDIY is cheap.

To open 99speedmart in sarawak maybe must get permission from tokeh boulevard, servey etc..

something to do with Sarawak directive to have Sarawakian owned business to have priority over non-Sarawakian.

I was doing some work for Sarawak Economic Development Corp last year, and one of the difficulty in that particular project was finding local Sarawakian vendors.

sarawakian plotek really stronk liaooo...ayam got experience there oso...die must use local sarawakian (bumi or non bumi same liaoo..must be their people..if no fackk liaooo)

but when shit happens or wateva..the first blame goes to semenanjung people( bumi or non bumi peninsular same liaoo...all lanjiaooo)

99 speedmart in sabah always non strategic places. Dunno how they survive when giant have to close all in sabah

but 99speedmart control their own logistics
at sarawak, from 1 district to another is very far...it's not cost effective/efficient to do so unlike sabah
sabah 1 district to another is quite close
having hub somewhere and controlling your logistic is how 99speedmart can keep cost low

why need 99speedmart when u have better local swakian grocery stores
