Ps+ during launch is only available in US with free games and discount perks during ps3 era.
Rmb that ps3 doesn't required ps+ to play online games. So there's just perks.

MY don't even have a psn store back then and we have to use SG psn store to buy things online.

During Ps4 launch, things started to change and Psn MY have alot more stuff, but free games ain't equal to US.

They start to even out during ps4 slim I think.

my main acc is still US account as I have accumated tons of free games there.

Occasionally I will buy games in MY psn if I find it cheaper than US psn store

Ok... Lets say I buy a US PS Plus account, while my console is logged on to MY PSN account, how to transfer the games I bought at US PS Plus account to my console?
*
U can have multiple accounts in a console known as Psn ID when you log on.

You just download the games on the respective ID/psn store and all ID will be able to access it.

I can play my US bought games on MY ID and vice versa.

Bought this x9000h 65" for my PS5. I think the most affordable now with hdmi 2.1 capabilities that supports Dolby Vision for my netflix.
*
Just take note that 120hz is blurry and no VRR support out of the box for this tv.

Will have firmware update in near future.

It's the best bang for buck TV for this year 👍

The battery is the same for all version of ds4.

V2 is more efficient in handling battery usage, hence longer battery usage per charge.

Can close case now?

Heard the load times are a huge improvement. The claptrap loading screen went from 2 mins on the ps4 to 10 seconds on the ps5.
*
Borderlands 3 is full fledge upgrade to Ps5. Not using ps4 BC mode.

It has 4k60 mode, 120hz mode, enhance graphics, and most important adaptive trigger support.

Hmmm. Alot of ppl reporting that extended drive will cause issue. Some of them even brick the system.

It's advise that not to use extended drive for the time being.

This is from the ps5 community, not from Sony official.

This makes me wonder why some have problems while some don't have. Is it the spec? Or is it the brand? Or the cable problem? No idea at all. I can hold on and not using the external drive. But it will destroy the purpose of me buying those ssd specifically for console. Lol. Hopefully sony will take serious in this issue.
*
Tbh no one have a concrete conclusion on this.

There's also Ps5 user who have zero issue with extended drive.

Some just don't care cuz under warranty. If brick then claim warranty lol.

I was planning to buy an ssd too b4 reading this.
Think I'll skip and use back my SHDD and save up for the internal expansion when it's available to use.

Crucial MX500 is a good drive for external usage with PS5 (and also the PS4 of course). It's not absurdly priced and has a DRAM cache buffer. I highly recommend them for external storage.
*
If compare to Kingston a2000?

Asking cuz I already have M2 external enclosure

Unfair comparison no? A2000 is an nvme drive on PCIE3.0. So the Kingston is of course faster.

But unless you want to stick that drive into a PCIE to SATA to USB 3.0 converter, I don't think the a2000 is a convenient drive for the PS5 as an external storage holding PS4 games.

EDIT - that said, PS4 games will not take advantage of the extra speed of the nvme drive anyways. There will be imperceptible difference to a SATA SSD.
*
I have the enclosure/converter. That's why I ask.

I'm not sure if the NVME speed will have any effect on the ps5 as an extended drive compare to conventional Sata SSD.

But looking at your answer. It's most likely minimal speed increase if there's any.

Probably won't know the answer until Sony enables PS5 games to be played off external storage. I doubt they ever will since no external storage is ever going to be a like for like equal to their custom on board storage. Storing games externally as archival storage sounds more likely.

But as far as PS4 games go, next to no difference.

OK. Thanks. Think I'll stick bk to SHHD and move games to console drive if it has ridiculous loading time

Why? Phil Spencer did great in steering xbox to the right direction from the disastrous xb1 launch.

Btw I tried to check for the coil whine issue reported by a lot of others however my unit doesn't seem to suffer from this. This thing is seriously quiet and I don't mind if Sony were to blast the fan speed up a bit more honestly.

The disc drive is relatively more quieter than my PS4 Pro as well. You can hear it spins of course but that if, if you sit near to it. Copying games from BD drive is however, takes roughly around the same time as the PS4 Pro. Still TGDS.

I disabled Rest Mode and haven't tested with external drive yet.
*
Coil whine only will happen in heavy load usage. Boot your most taxing game and check. If not then grats.

I also suspect our P/N is different from US/EURO. might be assemble from different plant.

So far it has been a love and hate relationship. When I kept dying I'd say f this game and went back to fifa.

After calm down a bit , watch some guide on youtube and manage to past the stupid boss . Got the ahh moment thats how you do it got the fulfilment feeling that you achieve something.

I would recommend to play this game in performance mode not cinematic. FPS > graphics the way this game should be played.

relief for those decide to play PS5 on 1080P TV  biggrin.gif

You can. And it will be better than ps4 definitely.

But you will miss out extra goodies like HDR or 120hz gaming outside of 4k.

It will work but not to its full potential basically.

There are high refresh rate screens with HDR and also being 1080P.

Monitor yes. Not TV. He specify TV.

Also a monitor with good HDR cost crap load of money. Its more worthwhile to spend the money on a good TV.
