FYI, a mildly disappointing news, but wouldn't matter for the time being as there are no native 4k 120hz games yet.
Unknown whether can be updated via firmware or is actually a hardware limitation.

tl;dw: At 32 Gbps means it can only output max 4K 120hz at 4:2:2 chroma i.e less color accuracy, but can still output 4K 60hz 4:4:4

So I doubt a lot of people would or should care about this at this point of time, unless it is confirmed to be a hardware limitation

Possible they have quite alot of digital units coming in for launch date. As of now 3 out of 6 of my gang who managed to PO and decided to be put on the 2nd batch got the call.

-Everything is fast here compared to the PS4 (as expected). Especially the download speeds
-It's very quiet even on demanding games
-Huge as fuck
-The only issue I experienced so far is when HDMI Link is on (When you turn on or off the TV, the PS5 will also turn on/off). Upon resume, the UI went slow and almost unresponsive. Need to restart to go back to normal. So I disabled the HDMI link.
-Controller is the next-gen feature. Especially on Astro's Playroom (This game is the best Playstation Tribute ever). Also works nice in Cold War, just be sure to download the PS5 game instead of the PS4 one.
-60FPS on Ghost of Tsushima is amazing.
-Mic on the controller is turned on automatically, so have to press it to mute everytime.

All in all, great upgrade from PS4 Pro.

"rest of the world" did not include malaysia until our local gamers started complaining to SIE Asia on facebook.

I was contacted yesterday by Sony Customer Service via mail that my Pre-Order for PS5 Disc Version will be fulfilled. Previously they told me they could not fulfill my PO due to the system glitch. my PO was from Sony webstore at 12:03 AM

Anyone else received the good news?
I noticed one or two persons with Digital Version POs getting this news last week but didn't hear from anyone who PO Disc Version and was cancelled.

Do you guys plan straight unboxing there and straight away check for functionality using their TV ? Do they allow?
And  then if something wrong, immediately push/pressure  them for 1-1 exchange? Or they will just said ask you to go back then collect a new one at later date?

Sarawak gang here Not sure whether they are going to deliver the parcel on the launch date but like the iphone pre order, they ship earlier once they got the stock ready, if it reaches here before 11/12 the courier will be instructed to only deliver on 11/12. Hopefully they ship earlier if they got the stock ready, if they wait till the launch date, we might need to wait more than 1 week as our state is still imposing the restriction from outside Sarawak as there is less planes flying in from Semenanjung these days. Do update yah when we Sarawakians will actually receive the unit.
It didn't state pre order though, means that we will receive this accessories before the ps5 launch date? Thinking of buying the controller there
