Is this happen to you every time you move of the lid? What i've notice is that only happened to me when it has remained 1 position for more than 3mind(roughly).
And it's seems worsen from day to day as it became more & more frequent now.

IKR... Just that time I was stubborn enough for not taken any video about it. So lesson learnt now.
Pray hard now AppleSupport willing resolve my problem tomorrow.

Just got back from north point. Hand down the explanation of the representative here are much better than my previous visit in KLCC service centre.(shout-out to those who recommended me to pay them a visit) Right now they’ve taken in my mba for technician inspection.

However, there’re still a small drama today between the me and the technician instead of the reps. But thank god they are willing to run more inspections before jump into conclusion that it’s not covered by warranty because the reps notice the hinge problem when he first touch my mba. Hopefully they are willing to change the hinge for me.🙏🏻

Been communicate with Machines Technician via email the next day after I sent it.

They’ve ran a few test on the WiFi and no issue being found thru all their test so I think it really might be my wifi is doing no good to this laptop(as per someone here mentioned earlier).
Speaking of the hinge, they have ordered a new part to fix the hinge issue and will let me know once it’s completed. The part is estimated 4-7working days to arrive and I assume it’s shipped from oversea as they mentioned it might be delay due to custom clearance(P/S :I didn’t ask what they ordered to fix the issue but the great news is it’s covered under apple warranty )

I think will be ready to collect by next week and will let you know once I got it .

Suddenly got an email saying my laptop is ready to collect last night then I immediately collect my laptop back this morning, so far the hinge issue was gone but I think need time to observe about it.
However, the wifi issue still persist despite the technician had ran few round of test about it and I'm using my relatives home wifi now. Not sure is this linked to unifi because both of our home are using unifi too.

The pop sound on the hinge seems back lately even after they changed a new lid to me back in Feb. Anyone had this similar issue recently?
