Any mouse to recommend? Preferable USB C receiver or Bluetooth connectivity.

I'm looking at the Logitech m337 anyone using this mouse for their Mac?
*
I’m using the Razer Pro mouse. Mine’s wired though but pretty durable.

Hi, just bought mine. Can use phone charger with 67w or steamdeck charger with 45w?
*
Me too. Bought to replace my old mbpr late 2013. From Lazada, only RM3291 for base model (M1 8/256, 7 core). My primary Mac is Mac mini M1 16GB 8 core so I know the M1 is more than capable as a secondary machine.

As for charger, should be ok. I use the iPhone USBC 20w charger with the MBA all the time.

For those who connect to external monitor. Which option do you use?

a) Adaptor (USB C male to HDMI female) + normal HDMI cable (male - male)
b) Single cable. USB-C male + HDMI male
*
I'm using single cable USBC to Displayport.

Hi All, I am a newbie to MacOS laptop although I had pretty much been invested in the apple eco system with iphone's, apple Watch, Airpod and Ipad for more than a decade.

Had always been favouring Windows laptop over the Apple macbook due to the gaming capability with Nvidia chipset. But I had stop gaming for sometime now and decide to upgrade my laptop.

I will be using mainly for Netflix, browsing, youtube, facebook, basic photo touch up and backup my iphone 15 pro 256gb and ipad via itune. Is the Macbook Air M1 enough for my requirement or shoudl I need something more powerful?
*
For basic use, M1 Air more than enough. We have 3 M1 Airs and a Mac mini M1 in the house. Last Lazada/Shopee sale, you could get the Air for around RM2900. A steal at that price.

Since you have other Apple stuff, you'll love the integration (Continuity, Handoff...) between them.

Having said that, I still have a 12400F PC for gaming.

Hi. Getting a M1 MBA soon.

Planning to buy the Ugreen 100W GaN charger with 100W cable, and a 7in1 USB-C Hub from Ugreen as well with the PD100W.

If I am to charge it via the PD100W, without using the original charger and cable, should be ok, right?
*
No problem, I occasionally charge my MBA M1 with Baseus 100W charger and any cable within reach.

Hi all, bet this question was asked numerous times but M1 MBA still worth to get in 2024?
*
If you can get it new for RM3000 or less, I think it's worth it. I'm still using mine from 2021.

Just got one for my neighbour a few days ago.

I also got 256GB because Apple's SSD options are so damn expensive. Then added external Thunderbolt 2TB NVME SSD.

Out of sudden, my rear port cannot detect power. Thus it wont charge. Luckily macbook Air M1 USB port were not part of the logic board and can be easily replaced.
*
DIY? Where did you get the USB port from?

Updating the only mbam1 (base 7-core GPU) in the house to Tahoe. Hope it's ok. cos I felt a bit of lag with the mbam4.
