If you tell them is not safe to use without a case and Apple will send you replacement first, after you received replacement only they will collect for the defect case

Is it due to the hot air or the humidity in the bathroom? Haha, I guess the micro particles floating in the bathroom will ‘stick’ to the ‘water’ in the air hence won’t fall easily on your phone’s screen..

I guess you’re more right 😄
Too bad its not perfect.. there is a super tiny dust trapped somewhere in the middle.. learning to get used to it now 😔

I think for most sp, you can use ur nails to ‘lift’ the screen protector up, then use cellophane tape to remove the dust..

Ohh OK, light usage then. Yeah, the standby times are excellent on the phone! smile.gif

So close to two weeks in, what do you think of the 12 Pro Max vs your previous phone, the OP7T Pro McLaren?
*
Yeah I’m super busy this week so no time to play with it. laugh.gif

Honest feedback:
I like how iOS is, useful and clean. The ecosystem gonna suck me more money in the future. Though it may be closed to Apple products only. laugh.gif

In term of smoothness, I didn’t feel any lag compared to my previous phone.

Main thing is of course the camera, I absolutely love it!

I was worried about the battery life initially because too many reviews said it’s worse than 11 Pro Max but I haven’t used 11 series before and this 12 Pro Max amazes me. Even my previous phone which has not too bad battery life still loses to 12 Pro Max.

OK, those are the good things. Here comes the not so good things based on my experience.
I mute several WhatsApp groups but the badge does not show any unread messages from muted groups. I have to check WhatsApp from time to time but I always forget about it.

I cannot get used of the keyboard, but as time passes by I have started adapting to it.

Also another thing is I cannot view which WiFi network I’m connected to from Control Centre view, I have to tap into Settings to see it.

Lastly, I mute my phone but it just mutes my notification but sound from media is still not muted. It still has sounds when playing YouTube and etc. Not a big issue but sometimes I just want to quickly mute my whole phone.

Other pros and cons I’m still exploring...

I think in most android phones that I used before, you just swipe down all the way and the connection name is right under the WiFi toggle which is way more efficient.

This is my first time I use iOS and I noticed that there are some things that is quite good in terms of UI/UX, but when it comes to technical settings and info, iOS tend to hide them a bit deeper in the menu. Hope there's a way to get around this limitation.

Example: In my previous Blackberry Priv and Huawei P20 Pro, a halfway swipe will show the control centre equivalent. A full swipe will display more details such as connection name and the expanded shortcuts like hotspot toggle with just 1 action.

In iOS, I have to swipe, hold tap WiFi icon, and tap hotspot toggle. so 3 actions, quite inefficient.

Buuut I'm an iOS virgin so maybe there's a workaround that I havent's found yet.

Apple clear case with magsafe does not protect the bottom part of the phone.
So I won't consider that case at all.
Apple's Clear Case with MagSafe is nice because it allows you to show off your phone's colored finish and the embedded markings tell you exactly where to attach the MagSafe charger for optimal charging speeds (you apparently need Apple's 20-watt USB-C charging to get the maximum 15-watt wireless charging speeds). The only issue with the clear case is that it leaves the bottom of your phone exposed.

i dont like the look of the circle surrounding the apple logo on apple's clear casing its hideous laugh.gif besides tht i think all apple's casing are overpriced huhu n speaking abt magsafe the more i use it the more im disliking it, feels like a gimmick product hehe sorry apple tongue.gif
