pro max is also big and heavy....

If you have the budget go with pro max you wont regret. I initially plan for 12 pro. but then seeing the price diff and the battery i decided to go with pro max no regret.

as for 128 or 256, question to ask yourself:

1) how much storage you use for your current phone?
2) do you use or plan to use icloud or gdrive for photo.
3) are you going to shot a lot of video with 4k

me myself i use icloud for photo so 128 is enough for me. cheers welcome to the club

If you do a lot of video recording safer to go with the 256GB one so that you have the space you need when you need it. Besides, like you mentioned, 400++ difference with telco plan is alright, not the 700 difference on the RRP.
