Just got off a call with Apple Sales Support to initiate a replacement for my Baltic Blue Leather Case.

They will give you a return number, schedule DHL to pick up next Tuesday. Make sure pack everything back in original box and write the Return# on the box.

After the returned item reached Apple warehouse then they will ship the replacement.

Initially they offer a refund but I liked the case so much I asked for a replacement instead xD

slight defect on my case, a bit crack at the corner(that I just received last night):

ah.. I had this issue while trying to capture the cracks on my leather case, in the end I used the 2.5x zoom to capture it.. the 1x just cant seem to focus properly on close subject

so guys, I just noticed something interesting. If you buy from Apple MY, you will be charged when they shipped your product, and you will receive an invoice in your email.

sooooo, actually on the invoice, there is a "Ship Date" on the upper left corner, which, is a "Must be delivered by" date. you guys can check yours and compare it with when you receive any of your Apple products.

No need to check the tracking too much if you know they will be delivered to you by a certain date.

Note: This date is sometimes different from the one on your Order Page.
Eg. 1: my iPhone order ETA was 16th Nov, but the invoice stated 13th Nov and that's the date I got it on
Eg. 2: my leather case ETA was 23rd Nov, but the invoice stated 19th Nov and that's the date I got it on

just sharing some finding because I was going through the invoice for tax filing xD

clean that area on your cable bro, it is especially noticeable on the stainless steel, so everytime after charging I got OCD to check and wipe if necessary

bro, look at your invoice by Apple, there's a "Ship Date" on the upper left, that should be the date you will receive (can be earlier by a day in some cases) =p

today afternoon DHL gonna pickup my baltic blue leather case to return to Apple, then Apple will send another replacement one to me. Let's see how long the process gonna take

the leather at the bottom right corner got a bit crack (can see white colour). I called Apple to arrange for a replacement (they initially thought I asked for refund, then I told them if a replacement was possible, because I really liked the case).


EDIT: I received case on 19th afternoon and noticed it at night, so 20th I called them, I think there's a limited window time to initiate a return.

you need to call Apple MY line, let them know your request and they will direct you to someone, then you tell them you want to do return or refund with appropriate reasons. Then they will proceed with the request.

For return/replacement, 1st step is they will give you a return number, you need to write on the packaging box. Then they will schedule DHL to pickup the item from you. Once they receive, they will either refund, or send you a replacement.

when you get charged, look at your electronic invoice upper left, there should be a "Ship Date", that's the date that courier must deliver your products by, usually they deliver on that date, but sometimes earlier by a day.

Update for my Apple Leather case replacement:
24th Nov - Pass to DHL
25th Nov - Received by Apple

Since mine is a replacement, they will update as they shipped out the replacement, currently ETA is Friday (which I think a bit ambitious xD), let's see how they perform =p

normal Qi wireless charging still works with iPhone 12, albeit at a slower speed. probably need to lineup the charging coils?
