iPhone 12 vs Pixel 5 battery test. Pixel 5 has bigger battery but with 90hz turned on in the video, it has similar SOT with the iPhone 12. iOS has smooth transitions (but a bit slow compared to Pixel).
In software development, we slow the animation to mask any stutter, jitter or hiccups in opening or switching apps. I think Apple software engineers know this. This is also the reason why old iPhones are considered "smooth" but not "snappy" or "fast".
By the way, I encountered something last night. I am using my old iPad cable and KUULAA adapter to charge my phone, I use my phone while charging it and I noticed terrible lag. Once I disconnect the charger, then it is OK. It's irritating though. I haven't use the original new cable yet.
I didn't notice any lag on my iPhone 12 using KUULAA charger (I use the bundled cable) BUT the lag appears when I charge my Pixel 4 and another Android using KUULAA charger + KUULAA usb c cable. Technically it's not lag but the screen is not responding to the touch. You have to press firmly for the phone to recognize.
Machines staff are well trained. I was queueing yesterday to buy the leather case and their employees ask each and every person what to buy (not just related to iPhone 12) so they can check if they have stock inside which I think should be the protocol (and logical) if you know there are people waiting.
nomad used horween leather (horween is a company that sell high quality leather ) apple leather case side frame is leather, nomad is non leather frame
My very old Moto 360 smartwatch comes with horween leather strap. It aged really well. Wondering now what leather brand Apple is using with their leather case (if it's synthetic or not).

Hi all, just wondering if you guys face issues with the virtual back button on the top left corner of your screen? Not sure if this is a bug but sometimes find it not sensitive. I need to tap a few times only i can return to previous page. My mum's iphone Xs Max also same issue after I updated to ios 14.2
To me in general, touch response of iPhone 12 is underwhelming compared to flagship Android phones (comparing to Pixel 4 now).
It's my first iPhone and I don't know if this is how iPhones behave like I cannot type really fast because it won't register some of my touches. And yes, I'm using the same screen protector brand as with my other phone.
Is there any glove mode or similar setting that can increase touch sensitivity?
