Hai,,, who is correct? It seems like everyone likes to make their own rule re scanning MySejahtera QR code.

I wrote to MySejahtera before and they directed me to write to MoH which is in charge. And according to MoH, no need to scan if you are just at the petrol station pumping fuel.

See the attachment (email from Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre <cprc@moh.gov.my>)

So... who's is to follow whose directive? bangwall.gif

according to the police ya we need
but damn stupid wor .... so currently i can just fuel up and go without interaction with any human being, with the new rules i need to go inside the shop and face all kind of human

For the sake of SOP, they ask you to go to the shop or the door to scan, where people now queue or get into crowd contact just the scanning.
You cant use the phone near the pump. So that will put people into risk of contact.
The idea is good to scan for tracing, but dumb because you actually ask people to interact and get into contact with each other, just to scan.

If you credit card, and the whole process basically you are alone unless you gatal go to tackle awek at counter.
Using credit card, isolated, but need to risk at counter/door to scan.
As usual in Malaysia, whenever there is a queue or crowd, people tend to tak tahan and get close to each other hoping to scan as soon as possible.
Not to mention the increase chance for theft because you have to leave the car unattended.

If using cash memang lar kena scan.
but for credit card or digital payment, memang tak masuk akal to put people into risk.

IPOH, Nov 9 — It is mandatory to register with the MySejahtera app for Covid-19 contact tracing when filling up using self-service kiosks at petrol stations, the police said.
According to China Press, Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department deputy director DCP Datuk Mior Faridalathrash Wahid said once the people arrived at the petrol station, they are required to register with the MySejahtera app even if they do not enter the station’s convenience store.

“If the people do not register or scan, how will the police trace them if there are Covid-19 cases in the area?” he was quoted as saying.

Mior told the portal that fuel stations were public spaces with heavy human traffic.

He said this made it mandatory for visitors to wear face masks, register for contact tracing, have their temperature scanned and use hand sanitisers.

Mior was asked to comment on a viral voice clip of a man claiming his father was fined RM1,000 for failing to register the MySejahtera app before filling up at a fuel pump despite wearing a face mask.

I dont mind to scan but put the blardy QR code at the pumps then....

Pumps are spaced out already for credit card users.

Now to ask ppl to mix together to scan the sejahtera app at the counter? Increase our own risk.

This is the start of the agenda to track your every movement. Soon you will be injected with a tracking chip.

Before that, you may need to scan first before piaping your waifu/gf...who knows right, you might be raping.

If you only go 1 petrol station. Just take a photo of the qr code and print a copy keep in the car. Then just scan in the car before getting out.
