Buying own insurance is good no matter what added benefits from banks. I still have my own family personal policy although the current co covers the cost, there is always a limit to a claim.

Is during the transition period, when you are neither here nor there when someone falls sick.

Having extra is better than just nice.

Benefits can be reduced or withdrawn and not cast on stone...seen it during my tenure with the bank.
