Just got mine xiaomi hub v3, only connected one wall switch as child devices so far for testing purpose, work as expected and no need reconnect the devices even power off and on back the hub.

wall switch is fine cause it is using power.
for those sensor, most of the time it can't auto detect.
just press on the button to reconnect it faster.

anyone had experience with aqara hub???
i used to off my wifi before sleep, but aqara hub will start blinking blue searching for wifi.
I had been clicking on the button on the hub to switch the light off.
is there a way to set it off and won't blink anymore??
Thank you

Regarding your question about the hub indication light, it's able to turn it off at setting through the app.

I have tried off wifi for few hours and on back, doesn't seems like need to reset any of the devices.

ya, off wifi won't affect the connection.

i mean that if i off my gateway, it takes time to reconnect all the child device. Especially those which run on battery, i found it hard to find it themselves. So i press the button on those device once (not long) just let the gateway detect it easily. you will hear the voice "normal connection" after this. it's not a reset.

Hmm I did try off the gateway for few mins and on back, still able to detect the sensor normally. Not sure if power off for long time but guess it should be always on once you start to use it unless there's blackout.
