QUOTE(Pugface @ Nov 2 2020, 12:10 AM)
in my situation now, the only ppl who are free are the junior levels and operation staffs who are ignorant
even the C-Levels are online and working at this minute, not just the managers

is it the same over there?
*
First of all, why you hate people that work on junior and operation staffs level?

Of course they on operation side, they have to present at the workplace and focus on company operational side such as dealing with customers, clients etc.

I don't understand why you want to be judgemental to them. During the normal days, you guys that upper from them can shake legs and don't give a damn on what happening to operational side, only know taichi here and there, blame here and there. And some of you don't even know what's happening and pretending to know everything by hearing people said this and that to you without asking personally to the person working on operational or junior level.

The reason why I say this, because people like you are damn ignorant. Before judging other people being ignorant, you need to evaluate yourself during your time at workplace. Yes, I'm working on operational side and I can see some of you behave like this.

And the most funny thing with these people that need to backup operational side sometimes, they can't do their job, they can't even speak properly to customer/client. Even basic thing also cannot do.

There should be new SOP to limit working hours at home. Such as all company work to be done through company laptop, which has daily usage time limit. Pass the time limit, and it will auto log off with 5 min warning. System access will be blocked until the next working day.

May sound ridiculous, but if wfh becomes long term norm, surely such a system will be implemented.

Bosses expect you are available 24/7 because hello, you are at home anyway right?

i find myself spending lesser time with family. I am physically here but glued to my machine due to workload.
you are expected to have that sense of urgency because economy isnt good, so better be on your toes and give that extra mile.
more than 10 hours a day
7 days a week

WFH has turned my otherwise decent working life to a corporate slave nightmare overnight.

I am exhausted and has come to hate my job in these past few months.

ok back to work tq for coming to my tedtalk

Especially those who is deep in dept or bought too many houses than they could afford. Some of them work 24/7 so they expect you to work hard like them, work your ass off spend 100% energy on work (no energy to piap after that, received bj only so waifu start looking for other man), he owes a lot of money = you owes a lot of money.

worse is those chinaman boss who own the company.

he think he work hard, sacrifice own time energy money, everyone should do the same. but profit all he will take because he's the owner.

WFH for me is to become the chef of the house, take care of house, wash clothes. Still better than waste petrol going to office, parking. At least can /k all day.
