Pardon me but this thread seems like the suitable one to ask... is anyone using Kleengard waste disposal? My sub sale house come with it but it's been some years. Currently whenever I turn on the machine it making really loud sound thus I am thinking should I dispose the machine or find some technician to come check or do maintenance.

If you are using this brand, kindly let me know your experience, is it reliable? Any do and don't? What's the maintenance down the road? Is 13A plug sufficient for it?

I am using Insinkerator but Kleengard should work similarly. You need to explain what is "loud"? May be video/audio to show? Just like any mechanical device it will have problem if not used for some time. I have 2 Insinkerators and one is more than 9 years. These devices are tough but you have to be diligent in maintaining them. That I meant no metal falls inside. Avoid grinding bones. Turn it on while allowing water running. Etc etc.

Newer and more expensive ones have dual motors and much more quiet. I doubt yours is so it is normal to have sound similar to small motor running sound.

If indeed it has problem my advice is to replace the whole unit. You need to pay to get a technician to come. Part change will cost money. The new one is probably 1k to 2k. Not worth the trouble
