QUOTE(howszat @ Mar 27 2021, 07:05 PM) I want to use it as only car for city + highway drive, either works as intended. I am comfortable with the ~RM100k price range and like the looks & packaging of both cars. Seen both on the road and both look great in white/red!The difference is CityRS gives better fuel economy, Apple Carplay and potentially better handling from lower ride while X50 FS gives 1.5T GDi hp and torque, better safety/convenience suite (ADAS 2.0 including low speed follow, full 360 camera, BSM), and lastly pano sunroof. Hope this clarifies. |

Haha... you don't need to clarify anything. The difference is CityRS gives better fuel economy, Apple Carplay and potentially better handling from lower ride while X50 FS gives 1.5T GDi hp and torque, better safety/convenience suite (ADAS 2.0 including low speed follow, full 360 camera, BSM), and lastly pano sunroof. Hope this clarifies. These 2 vehicles are realistically in different categories. That's the reality. How you decide what you want, that is up to you. |

I am comfortable with the ~RM100k price range and like the looks & packaging of both cars. Seen both on the road and both look great in white/red! Just ask yourself, are you wanting/ready for driving an EV like vehicle, now?The difference is CityRS gives better fuel economy, Apple Carplay and potentially better handling from lower ride while X50 FS gives 1.5T GDi hp and torque, better safety/convenience suite (ADAS 2.0 including low speed follow, full 360 camera, BSM), and lastly pano sunroof. Hope this clarifies. You can practically treat RS as an EV, minus the charge your car part. Which back to my very first suggestion, you wanted to join the SUV/high tech hype or the EV/smart vehicle hype. This post has been edited by msacras: Mar 27 2021, 10:23 PM |

QUOTE(clockpulses @ Mar 27 2021, 06:34 PM) Serious: why don't you consider Vios GR. CVT with 10-speed Sport Sequential Shiftmatic Thanks for this I think better than City V but lost on engine performance |

Honda City V: + More tried and tested + Probably lower maintenance cost + Android Auto and Apple Car Play + Spacious interior and boot + Paddle shifters + Higher resale value + Cheaper than X50 Flagship almost RM20k X50 Flagship: + Latest ADAS technology, almost self driving, complete safety suite (360 camera, front sensor) + Pretty full-digital instrument cluster + Powerful engine and transmission, better power-weight ratio (177bhp to 1.3ton) + Newer model to Malaysia (less boring than 5th gen City) + Prettier exterior and interior (IMO) + Electronic park brake What do you think? Please discuss and very much appreciated. Also considered but not keen: Vios, Almera, Civic (outside budget) |

X50 waiting time and parts availability is a big issue, don’t underestimate the importance of post-sale service. Do you NEED a car now? If not just wait and see. Don’t go for 1st batch of any car, normally those are horrible (unless CBU import from overseas like proton inspira that the 1st batch was imported from Japan, X70 first batch was imported from China). Local assembly is always shit QC. They normally go to an acceptable level from 2nd batch onwards after people complain. homerthewhopper liked this post

U don’t trust me go masuk the X50 group. Now owners starting to complain on the QC part. U are only dreaming if u say car manufacturers tolerance now is quite tight. First batch, always, avoid. Unless CBU. |
