Just to make some correction, yorkfield is still MCM. Intel refuse on having native quad cores anytime soon.

Whats MCM bro? yorkfield is made out of two wolfsdale dies on one module... in which wolfsdale is the desktop version of the penryn and yorksfield is suppose to be the succesor of the kentsfield...
Multi-chip module aka > 1 die in a single package - not necessarily both dies are the same. First done on the Pentium Pro (core + cache).
The XBox 360 chip Xenos is MCM (core + EDRAM), so is AMD's HD2900 GPUs (GPU + Ram).
Expect more MCMs in the near future.
