@minde
i usually hide those files using ActiveFile, which is free too. just press "9" on the folder, set it to hidden and apply. done for the _PAlbTN, it will only work if the files are not hidden. once files hidden, it wont show up on gallery (at least on my phone). usually deleted it to reduce files on my microsd now my headache is that navigation voice files in garmin show up on when choosing ringtone. imagine 600+songs with garmin navi voice files, it's headache. for ringing tone, it can be easily set via music player but message, alarm, etc .... |

QUOTE(clawhammer @ Dec 4 2007, 11:53 AM) There's a bit of difference in terms of speed as writing to the phone memory is always faster than of a memory card actually some reviews already benchmarked it. it's the same write/read speed.... which is slowww. try doing something like duplicating a 700mb avi file on microsd via phone. need half hour lol.Other than this, that's about it. P.S:nokia N95-1 USB transfer speed capped at 950kBps while N95-2 capped at 650kBps. @clsia1001 i'm using 4gb microsdhc (rm200). 6gb microsdhc already available, rm300. 8gb will available soon here |

okie, found out the reason why flash lite 3 wont play any flv. anyone using Flash software should familiar with flv handler/container. basically the Flash Lite 3 DevEd is the sourcecode and in order for play FLV, u need a swf file that can play/grab external flv file
in summary, 1. install Flash Lite 3 DevEd 2. get a swf that specifically scripted to grab external flv 3. play flv on ur phone How to do it: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « that's all. hope someone understand what i'm trying to explain Attached File(s)
FLVplayer.zip ( 21.9k )

QUOTE(clawhammer @ Dec 4 2007, 12:18 PM) Yeah, I think the same write/read speed applies to SDHC cards? My original memory card from Nokia is really slow and I normally transfer via bluetooth yup, painfully slow if u try to transfer via N95 USB port If you tend to get the new 8GB, sell me yours for 50% off better get a USB card reader, then it's super fast. 20-30MBps lol. btw, my card already booked by my fren |

QUOTE(Wolf516 @ Dec 7 2007, 06:57 PM) all Nseries AFAIK have USB port. N82 use microUSB but cant charge via that port when the main intention of the new port is it can charge the phone through it.Added on December 8, 2007, 8:27 amfor tightening the slider, i dissemble the rails and use strips of stickers. no cellotapes, too messy and sticky IMHO. now tight and smooth at the same times This post has been edited by toughnut: Dec 8 2007, 08:27 AM |

those black color make N95-1 look like nokLa lol. still prefer original silver color, less fingerprint collection
Added on December 12, 2007, 9:37 ambtw, that black housing made for titanium+magnesium? but N95-1 in black metal body really nice. sort like N80 This post has been edited by toughnut: Dec 12 2007, 09:37 AM |

everyone, check this out, emTube.
QUOTE emTube is an application for Symbian S60 3rd edition phones that allows you to: - Search and browse videos on YouTube. - Download selected videos onto your phone. - Stream FlashVideo files directly from YouTube. - Play local FlashVideo files. Other features: - Audio and position control during playback. - Normal and full screen (portrait and landscape mode) video playback. - Ability to use built in accelerometer to rotate video between portrait/landscape mode. IMHO, this app get my personal App of the Year Award, even better than CorePlayer |

coreplayer and emTube are not even comparable. one is music/video player capable of handling various audio/video container while another one is just youtube/flv player. both are media player but do different jobs. |

that zip files is useless. it's the sourcecode for writing the program. try install Flash Lite 3 Dev Ed. btw, it's already stated it cant support all type of FLV. fyi, FLV is just the container. there are many types of codecs that can be used to convert to FLV |

Navfone use their own version of map. so unless they make a All-in-One version, u have to live with the only-one-of-three map lol. btw, navfone and nokia map suck IMHO. so usually i dont bother much with those. @ddww fyi, emTube already has autorotate built-in specifically for N95. download the N95 version of emTube, play a movie. then rotate the screen and boooom, it rotate automatically @sonic_cd never happen on my phone so far, and hopefully never will @ivanau88 time to use NSS. change the code. refer to first post. @ali86 never tried but all video i tried all downloaded on PC lol anyway, i managed to squeeze 52hrs of battery life on my N95-1 V20 under medium usage, my personal best record so far This post has been edited by toughnut: Dec 19 2007, 08:45 AM |
