Penzman, do have ur steering centering box checked but leave the amount to 0%.

About ur FFB coming and going as it please, u can quickly unplug and replug ur usb cable at the back of the wheel and hit 'F' to refresh force feedback.

Cyborg...u can Shift-R i think...to show the FPS during gameplay and automatically the blinking will go away.

Congrats to penzman and the best....good job...but pls balance it with ur studies.

Dzariq's race pace is mesmerizing....consistently clocking 1.31.xxxx

Lately i found myself holding back during races...i dont know why. Im pretty good during practice...but during races im easily 1.5 sec or 2 secs slower.

Neah..works perfectly fine during practice. I practice only using race setups. I think its my pshycological state...sigh need to consult my team shrink...lol

I havent played around with boost too much. Ive only recently found the usage of boost and only last few days trying to benefit from it....resulting of my first ever engine blow up in my entire sim-racing history last nite!

I am constantly fine tuning my seating coz to me its one of the most important thing. I have wheeled seats and use door stoppers on a rug to stop it from moving. and ive pushed the wheels of the chair against a plank that stop it in place. That plank mounts my momo pedals. I have my pedals at a higher position for better modulations and ctrl. plus my table is kinna high.

I use socks too for better modulations and make sure its a clean pair otherwise stuff would drop into the openings in the pedals and give all sorts of prob like spiking n stuff.

My screen position is adjusted as close as natural focal length as possible....probably around 40-50cm. too close and i'll get cock-eyed while driving and few laps ure already tired.

Im planning to get a new seats.

Great insight evo....yes this makes it more interesting aint it? Previously it was remote to think of engine failure...now its a possiblity. So if ure leading, you will nurse it instead of push it. Thats simracing.

Penzman...if online race is not available, we can always do it offline. But its better to have it between us but some ppl go online having different practice programs.

Boost increase and decrease during race is a killer. I lost my engine yesterdays test race while increasing my boost.

The key to a good first sector is the last corner exit speed (Goes to any other track also ) U'll end up faster crossing the start/finish line thus starting the lap faster. Traction off the line out of turn 1 is vital....the key is not to overdo the braking into it or u'll have no traction left for the exit. Very tricky indeed coz its a downhill turning.

A spot on, very precise on the line, at the optimum torque rpm drive is important thru turn 2 3 and 4....those are the key corners. Turn 5 is a normal left-hander but be prepared not to get too excited with entry speed (And too happy knowing ure 0.2s faster than the fastest guy LOL) coz u need to quickly place the car on the left side to take a tight, downhill right hander.

downgrade to 1.7. 1.8 has been changed to WIP. so 1.7 is the official update for FSONE 2006.

Sparks happen at high speed because the downforce is at its strongest and it presses the car lower. Too low and it'll have contact with the tarmac. Check ur ride height and suspension stiffness. Probably ur ride height is too low or the suspension is too soft. Check ur tyre pressure too.
