since you are renovating, please lay the cable.
you can still choose to use wireless later but dont lay cable now, cannot u turn jor. from what i used before, those wireless alarms for my office. end up abandon 1. using obscure 12V remote control battery 2. operate at 433mhz which is easily intefere with other people autogate. 3. you wont know if the sensor is alive or not. maybe test today it works, tomorrow battery dead. 4. very limited sensor types. eg the glass break sensor may not be as adjustable. wireless motion IR is impossible to due to the high power consumption. 5. almost no way to upgrade. if one sensor fail, very expensive to replace, if its even available. |
