Bandar Sri Damansara still ok for me, just a bit far compared to PJ. Cheras in KL i surveyed already, not many choices and mostly leasehold, some area eg in Tayton view the traffic is very bad during peak hour.

If your are not familiar with PJ, why you want to buy a house there?

BSD and Cherss are north south ... is like chicken and duck.

If you are not sure now, dont buy lest you made a wrong decision.

Explore more areas b4 committing. BTW, 700k can also buy you a 2 storey.

If you dont mind sacrifying distant for space, USJ have plenty smaller unit that suits your family .... DSL 20 x 60 or 1.5 sty 24 x 65 which below your budget.

Pinggiran USJ is actually Shah Alam area with high population of foreigners due to the industrisl area.

If you want close proximity to Lick Hung, you can also consider SS19 & SS18. The houses are older than USJ but prices higher than USJ but bigger build up. Not sure you need it.

Cant comment on BSD prices as not familiar with property there. I knew few friends bought SS there during launch which I think is about 70k then.

Most of Sime Darby houses in SS, USJ and Putra Heights area are big in land area but small build up. A normal dsl without extension is comfortable for small family of 4 to 6.

If you are looking for nearby SRJK, you can look into Putra Heights Section 2 area. Is also walking distant to Alam Megah lrt stop. Good accessible via Elite, Kesas and LDP. 15 min drive to Puchong Bdr Puteri. Prices now for dsl 22 x 75 is about RM600k onwards. 2/2, 3 4 and 5 are gng except 2/1 guard only but is all owners own initiative.

Very Hot .... Yes

Small build up... Depends....suit ts family of 3.

Thieves .....No different ... either through kitchen, porch or roof.

Location is individual preference ... no right or wrong. Buy where you like and like where you buy within your budget.

Some can tolerate an hour traffic while others say 30 mins is too long.

Is difficult to say exactly why BSD prices are higher than Subang. If one were to compare point for point basis, I dont see a big different in both places.
