I planning to upgrade my tx1316au to 4gb ram.
Anyone here that already upgraded to 4gb ram?
TX1316au support?
Please share you experience.
Thanx.

I brought mine TX1316au @RM2999 during pc fair.
I upgrade mine TX1316au to 4GB RAM but only display 3.00GB Max
Using Display memory for 128MB on BIOS.
FYI , Vista 32-bit only display 3GB max ,Vista 64-bit able to detect 4GB.

For warranty , I would suggested you all to get 3 years extended warranty . Only cost RM300 , Just call HP center. they will email you with verification and send you hardcopy letter as well.

For this lappy with touch screen LCD i think to insurance RM300 for 3 years is more than worth it. smile.gif

So far i didn;t encounter any problem , Very 100% satisfy with this laptop. thumbup.gif

does any1 have this webcam driver downloaded or know where to get it now?  I tried the link above but it not working anymore.
*
demio121 :

please try this link

http://www.driversdown.com/ViewDownloadUrl...&brNum=3&show=0

But the latest version is 5.7.31.400C and again

Why not use back the original HP Webcam drivers ??
please look for hp tx series drivers website and for CTO model.
FYI if you upgrade to vista SP1 it won't support Acer Chicony drivers. sad.gif

I think the Package for Tx2032au only consist of 1 X 4 cell or 6 cell battery right ?Saw at PC Fair...Damn..this model selling like HOT HOT CAKE... tongue.gif
The previous TX1316au consist of 2 battery which 1 X 4cell and 1 X 6 cell ,
the only think advantage of TX2032au and Tx1316au is below :

1.Memory upgrade to 2 GB
2. Wacom digitizer
3.Processor 1.9Mhz
4.Layout on the Keyboard (Silver)

anything else i miss out ??

I owned Tx1316au with 3GB of RAM and upgrade to Vista SP1..and owned the CoolMaster Infinite which recommended by demio121..So far..dun think wanna upgrade to Tx2032au...unless the machine come with Turion or C2D processor.

Had called up the HP center...Upgrade to Turion Processor is not applicable for tx1316au... sad.gif
