QUOTE(Acquiesce @ Nov 21 2007, 08:59 AM) which machine you're using right now? does it come with preinstalled VISTA? when i install XP, the installation could not detect my harddrive. Did a search online and found out i need to slpstream the SATA drivers in my XP installation CD. I tried that but still i cant resolve it. ANy idea?? You MUST use Windows XP installation CD with SP2 slipstreamed in order for Windows to detect your SATA hard drive during installation process. Slipstreaming Windows XP with Service Pack 2 (SP2)This post has been edited by Sandwich2U: Nov 21 2007, 01:10 PM
