I have seen lots of feedbacks in this forum and also in others HP forum, and the problem is - Wireless Adaptor starts to die and after a few weeks or a weeks months the motherboard dead.

What I suggest, I think may be you guys should group email and lodge a complain to HP Malaysia, because this is a very common problem for the TX1000 series, and it due to heats. They should have replace their defects FOC to us because this is their chipset and designs that cause the problem.

Well, when you guys lost the wireless signal - Broadcom wireless adapter is missing/malfunction, actually the Broadcom card is not faulty. I have taken it out from a faulty TX1000, and fix it to another Compaq Presario, it works, so I think the Broadcom is not faulty, but it is one of the chipsets that controlled the PCI slot that is already gone wrong.

This is a very common problem - Wireless gone and motherboard gone in few weeks later.
