I did have this issue before that the transfer limit over Maybank app is only RM1000 per day.

I can't remember how did I resolve it and now my friend is having the same issue and I can't advise her on how to set it.

Anyone got clue?

it depends on limit u set.
log in the full fat m2u on browser, then go to the settings to change the limit.

Previously my end is to go to one of their branch & seek the customer service requesting for increase transfer transfer which they will be able to help you out on how to do it. But currently with RMCO better to call Maybank customer service contact for latest procedure on how to go about it. That's what they are there to assist.

Login to the website and change from there.

new M2U > Settings top right > Cards > Manage Debit Cards

that's how i increased it last week when i wanted to top up SHopee Pay > RM1000 from Debit Account

No, website transfer is ok and set to Max... but the only problem is maybank app... RM1k only

Use the classic M2U.. look into the setting for daily transfer limit.

you need to login to the maybank2u website in your pc to change the limit. The M2U app do not have tht option.

All are set to Max... but phone there transfer limit is still tied to 1k

All bank apps in Malaysia have limits. Best to use the main site for large amounts.

My Cambodia ABA Bank app has a daily limit of USD 10K for a basic account. Premier account can do USD 200K daily.

I can use the app to transfer max limit without issue.

Might be a security measure. Best to check with your bank directly.

Have u tried adding the payee under favourite list?

There is no problem on favorite list but don't you think inappropriate to add everyone that I want to transfer for one-time into favorite list?

Favourite list can transfer more than 1K daily.

m2u website limit to 6k
m2u app can over 10k++ but if your account limit it then you should check your account setting.

can TS check again the limit from the maybank2u webpage?

if change properly the transfer setting should look like these:

just use the browser on the phone if anything more than the limit of the app

just done transfer 20k from maybank app last night.

it's all in your account settings.

Already set. There is no setting on desktop to set phone app limit

The useless customer service said memang app punya limit hanya daily 1k sahaja unless u register secure2u, dan u punya hanya 5k di app..

jika mahu transfer lebih daripada 5k, sila guna full website..

Maybank staff asked if large amount, use web. How the silly answer is....

Maybank2 CS is not well trained and I told them this but they denied that they are not well trained.

The CS just now challenced me that the app transfer limit for open transfer is daily 1k. If you wanna transfer more than 1k, you have to put the account under favorite list or use maybank2 full website.

I challenged him to transfer on real time to prove so.... and he asked me to wait 10 mins so he can check with his superior.

After 10 mins, he called me back and asked me to upload screenshot of the issue and he will forward to the team to check.

How stupid they arE?

First time transfer to the account?
If i'm not mistaken, first time transfer to an account using app is limited to 1k

I think it is by design.... u already got answer just that you dont like the answer lol.
