well not that buttery smooth la, but it's reliable -- there's no lag in answering calls or message in Whatsapp. Android phones of the same generation conlanfirm lag like hell already.

iphone 7 should still be ok for another 2 to 3 more years for your mom basis usage.

if you can get a iphone X at cheaper price will be even better. the redesign will make the phone looks not so outdated for the next few years. and it can be used longer. i managed to get one refurbished iphone x 256gb at rm1850 for my dad which is quite ok deal.

Agree, the blue for iphone 12 (not pro) doesn't looks premium at all in my opinion.
