In actual fact the price of the base Pro has been reduced since the storage is now 128GB. Also the 12 Pro Max 256GB is now 5799 Vs the 11 Pro Max at 5999 last year if not mistaken.

I think it's fair for the Pro line this round.

The 12 and 12 Mini price is a bit disappointing though coz I expected the 12 to match the 11 and the price of the Mini to be lower.

12 should be the same as the 11 in terms of battery performance or slightly better, but the Mini should fall a bit short. Apple won't reveal the capacity of the batteries so we'll have to wait for the reviewers to get hold of them to test.

Hahaha, like I mentioned, given the quantum of the price increase by folks like Samsung with their S20 Ultra and Note 20 Ultra (and don't get me started on the RM4k, plastic Note 20), I'd happily buy the 128GB 12 Pro Max even without the adapter and earphones

Mine ends 2021, hahaha. Using my wife's account, she has no active contract.

The 12 Pro Max will end up in her hands after I test it for a month so she's happy

I have one too but it'll only be worth RM300 or so... might as well keep it

I'll be passing mine down to my mum and retiring her 5S although she still prefers the compact size of the 5S (and she uses it more like as if it was a Nokia feature phone).

Technically it just makes scrolling smoother, so depending on how much you scroll when you read? Hahaha... no idea, but I've tried 60hz, 90hz and 120hz refresh rate displays throughout this year and for me personally, the difference is negligible but maybe because I'm old and my eyes aren't as good as before

But the Pro Max has the better cameras this round too, apparently. Not a selling point for you?
