I had this back ache for a few days, i'm pretty sure I did not strain it because I did not do any badminton recently or any other sports. The ache / pain just came suddenly and it's not to the point I can't walk or would affect my daily routines. Sometimes the pain is non existent, sometimes it is, during the night when i'm about to sleep or when I sit on the sofa, I do feel the pain much more, but when I lay flat on my back, I pretty much don't feel it. Just want some advice when is it a course of concern for me to see the doc ?

The last time I had this, it was kidney stones.

It eventually got a lot worse, cannot even stand/get out of bed.

Is your pain at the beginning quite severe ? Or bearable that u don't feel the need to go see a doctor ? And what was ur treatment ?

The pain was tolerable at first, did not see the doctor. Started to lose a lot of sleep because of it. It became really bad after that.

Took some powder mixed into water that helps to break down the stone(s).

I was lucky, it cleared up after a week or two. My buddy had to go for surgery to remove them.

Because just hearing the words Kidney stones sounds really terrifying for me, I had this back ache for a few days now, the pain is very bearable, I can still go around doing my daily routines, going to my family doc today later, should i even be this worrying ?

Just came back from doc. After examination, he said i have spasm at the back, no nerve damage, slip disc or whatever. Gave me muscle relax pill and non-steridal anti inflame cream to apply

Do u always put ur wallet at ur back pocket and sit on the wallet

The wallet could affect ur spine cause not balance

Never put ur wallet in the back pocket

No I don't, I rarely put my wallet in my back pocket unless im wearing jeans, which is rarely as well. I always put my wallet in my front pocket due to shorts. I play a lot of badminton, i'm very active in badminton, and I don't do gym at all, the doc say I must do gym, if not i will continue to have this issue every now and then. He examined and press me, told me i have back spasm, which i don't know what that means, but I haven't play badminton in about 1 week + for now, wonder how come i suddenly will have this spasm pain at the back right side.

Hello anyone who sees this, went to the doc yesterday, was diagnosed with back spasm injury, so i wondered how come i would get that, then i remembered I piggyback a friend who's almost twice my size, definitely heavier than me twice for a few seconds, so that could be the result of this.

Just wondering, my situation is not as bad as I can't move at all, it's just it will ache when i walk, could i still play casual badminton with this ?
