The spec and even price that you can get from Google or from their company site (if any) is actually the Standard Spec, just for reference only.
Usually for any customer (Military) purchase, they will not stick to the Standard Spec one, instead they will customize the spec to suit their operation need.
Of course, how far the customization can go is based on how much/well the manufacturer willing to do it, and sometime political element will be part of the factor as well. (example: Russian manufacturer won't allow western technology into their product customization, and some Western manufacturer won't allow it oso)

No need directly, just launch some indirect attack like cyber warfare or covert operation will do.
Unless got "a few Russian ethnicity people killed or hurted during the clash".

Thats why I say Russian no need involve directly (or I belip they don't even need to involved at all), coz nothing to gain from the war, so why die for nothing in return?
Furthermore, if Russia get involved, US and its Nato doggie may take advantage on the situation, later things will get really ugly.
