Oh.. Thank you blackpc for explain it. Else, we gonna carry wrong theory of windscreen till die. haha..

Not from the back seat. Front my driver seat..
*
owh.. front seat. Very easy. If u r sitting on it, locate a bolt on the left side of your 'ass'. laugh.gif U need to remove the arm rest if u have one installed. Then use wd-40 or silicone spray on the bolt. Spray secukup rasa in/out/around the bolt area. Definitely the sound will be gone.

If the front passenger side, the bolt will be on the right side of the passenger.

Good luck! thumbup.gif

try racing spec gear oil... sure last longer under normal driving. usually workshop will use same type of gear oil for every car that comes into the shop. doh.gif

there are two type of LMST headlights rite? one is crystal clear, latest LMST have them and the a bit blurish wan..
*
I'll still change back to the smoke look type, because it suits my dark blue car. The other type with chrome linings is a bit 'ah bengish' to me.

Apparently, the LMST headlights, albeit its sportier design, have a lot of quality issue. A lot of hairline cracks less than 6 months on the road, and in my case, after a year, the cracks actually covered the whole lamp until the surface becomes white and powdery. rclxub.gif

2 weeks back i've just changed my car timing belt for about rm150 with air con belt as well. Mileage was about 55,000km. Timing belt still looks ok, but air cond belt cracked already.

Guys, want to ask. Today I went to the exhaust workshop and check out whether any ways to make my LMST 1.3 a little bit silent. He recommended a stock exhaust which is used in the previous Iswara Aeroback to me as it will be more silent compared to 4-2-1 and a bullet combination. He said the power and pick up will still remain. And even an improved in FC. Is it true? The price he quoted me was RM185 [non stainless steel] and RM350 [stainless steel].

Besides that, I enquired about 4-2-1 and a bullet which cost around RM300. Do you think which version shall I take? My concern is FC and pick up power.
*
the price is quite exorbitant. RM165 difference between non stainless and stainless steel? rclxub.gif

In kajang the non-stainless steel exhaust is only RM150 with installation. The guy at the workshop was probably telling you the truth about the fc and power. Seriously the stock LMST exhaust is nothing but a noisy 'ah-beng' cosmetic. icon_rolleyes.gif

the stock is 4".

Might as well go for a 6x9 3-ways speaker while u r at it. If you are not choosy about the brand, the price difference between those two is not that much.

Andy, hope this can help you..

Open your rear bonnet, then you can see two knob.. Pull it up then push it to the front. Then open the rear door, and use wire tape and stick the metal like this,
user posted image
Stick more, don't so stingy. After stick, then push back to the back till MAX. You will hear "tak" sound. Then jao can.. Is not max, still will have the sound.

If after do this and still have the sound, you seat behind the driver seat, push the driver seat go infront. Then you will see two bot nuts under the seat, then use wd40 and spray the bot on right and the left. If got arm rest, take it out first.

and last way if after do this both thing also got mice sound, then you go animal shop and buy a cat.. Then put inside the car to catch the mice. maybe really got mice inside..  tongue.gif  tongue.gif
