1. Model: Acer XB272
2. Problem/Faulty: Shows white screen only when turn on
3. Repair Before: When open up found a burnt transistor on the LCD controller, replaced it but still same white screen issue, suspect something else is wrong with the controller, but is beyond my knowledge to diagnose further.
4. Video/Photo of defect:

Shown here is the blown transistor(before attempting repair)

Hi, thanks for the enquiry. Acer XB272 a Nvidia G-sync monitor bangwall.gif

Good observation on noticing the burnt part on T-con board.
This SOT-23 3 pin Package can be one of the following:
1) NPN transistor
2) PNP transistor
3) N-FET
4) P-FET
5) LDO
6) Diodes

Not sure which part transistor you changed them. Since u managed to open up the monitor and replace the burnt part, I assume u have some basic electronics troubleshooting skills perhaps I can guide you further on how to troubleshoot them and lets see we can fix it together. UGPM!

Hi there!
Thanks for inquiry. Is the monitor in working condition?
If its still working, better not because might break other things..
