Best solution with best bang of bucks is PPF on the front only. Then ceramic coating the rest. Should cost around 2k for PPF and ceramic coating if you let same company do, might be 500-1000.
TS is right in terms of maintainence for PPF and ceramic. A lot of people never do proper research and got duped by ceramic company saying their ceramic can protect even stone chips.
For ceramic coating, they range from 300 to 2500. I am not sure the difference as I am using the 300 one. You just need to always go back to them for car wash and maintenance. As long as you go back to them, they will make sure your car as shiny as new.
The warranty for ceramic or PPF, you still have to pay. Even when they say will touch up for you, you still need to pay during warranty period. Maybe first or second time have included FREE touch up. But most of the times you need to pay and it is not cheap either.
So for me, if you want to maintain the shine and mint paint condition you will need to invest lots of time and money. You need to go weekly back to the shop for them to wash your car and spend more money on them. If you DIY, you will need to R&D on good product like Meguairs, TurtleWax or Sonax. Constantly wash your car too.
That is why you see tons and tons of coating and car wash shops are cropping up like crazy.
Car coating brand, Anyone using this few?
