Sometimes I don't understand why when we have Giroud, Havertz played as a false 9. When we have CHO, Mount played as a winger.

QUOTE(fzrnhkm @ Sep 21 2020, 11:15 AM) Imo the real test is when all players are fit to play. Should we obtain similar result as yesterday, then all heads will turn to Lamps on his tactical decision making. This should be our strongest lineup for this season. However, Lampard might put Mount in for Pulisic/Havertz/Ziyech. You will never know.My preferred XI would be: Mendy James Silva Tomori Chilwell Kante Kovacic Havertz Ziyech Werner Pulisic What’s been on my mind since last night’s match is that, 6 out of the players i listed above actually played. But the chemistry just wasn’t there, hopefully just a matter of time One more thing is, i wonder when all players are fit, will Lamps bench Mount..? |

QUOTE(fzrnhkm @ Sep 21 2020, 01:06 PM) Mount is actually quite good imo. But with new signings coming in (after being fit, that is), the task now turns to blending them in with our current squad. And for that to happen, Lamps need to pinpoint which players from the current team that deserve to stay (read: Tomori/Kovacic/James), and which should be shown the door (read: Kepa/Christensen/Alonso) Ya agree, lack of game time doesn't mean that he is bad. Just look at Lamptey.Mount can rotate with either Havertz/Pulisic at times, but a winger needs to play in his pure position for him to play to the best of his ability, and the same goes to a midfielder as well Also, i genuinely don't understand the gaffer's issue with Hudson-Odoi. Sure, he's inconsistent in performing but that can be due to lack of game time given to him. Why not let the kid play every now and then and see how it goes..? I believe this season shall be another trial of fire for Lamps, with extra added pressure given all the new signings coming in. Let's see at the end of the season how the starting XI shapes out |

QUOTE(fzrnhkm @ Oct 12 2020, 03:03 PM) Don’t la.. i crave to see all our new signings in the starting XI.. Mendy not sure yet on his thigh injury, but read that it’s not that serious. But still not sure whether he’d be fit for this weekend I'm hoping to see this lineup too, just afraid that Lampard will find an excuse to put Mount in and told one of the players is not fit enough to start.Favorable starting XI this weekend against Southampton: Kepa (yes i know Azpi Silva Zouma Chilwell Kante Kovacic Ziyech Havertz Pulisic Werner (please let him play up top...) |

The midfield with Kante, Mount and Havertz seems working. But not sure Kante can do the defending jobs or not. I think Mount can help him by tracking back since he is good in pressuring opponents haha

Is Lampard doesn't allow players to shoot inside the box or what?
