anyone know how korea law work?
cos i cant find lastest immigration law/rules...

mu auntie son few year ago go korea using travel visa to illegally work,
but last time (almost 2 year ago) he no come back cos want continue work...
passport expiry and visa also expiry almost 2 years...

this year before june, hear korea gov got program ti white wash all illegaly stay/worker,
but he no go apply cos work (he say cos no china worker, got plenty of job)

but now want come back as the gf got pregnant already (both illegally overstay almost 2 year, passport/visa expiry almost 2 year)

will got what punishment?
he ask he sister to book flight,
but if immigration cant get pass, got ticket also no use?

so anyone know?

Coming back to Malaysia? Also, since they are already there, why not just continue on with life there?

Call Malaysia embassy in Korea for information.

i also say go embassy,
but they just plan direct go airport,
for sure will caught by authority...

sure want come back mah,

and now korea start hunting illegal worker again..

already ask to go embassy to ask, stubborn want to go airport directly, then ask for what?
face the consequences lo....

That why I want to know what the consequence....
Everyone say just surrender....at least maybe the punishment will less abut...

All becos the middle men that bring them say,
At most just stay in room at airport for few day and Korea gov will fork out money send them back...

and blacklisted for sure

What about tax evasion crime? Maybe they'll be jailed first if they cannot pay the fine and the income tax.

I read some where, they say korea will fine base one how many day overstay,
Like 30 days x 100k won,
But dont know max how much la..
Plus got other crime of illegal working,
Misuse of Visa,
Etc...

They say blacklist no problem,
Next time go Australia or New Zealand again as illegal worker...

Not sure if they are back but here is what i found.

Since they overstayed for 2 years. They will need to pay 5million won fine (RM 17k), that is about 2 to 3 months salary.
It will be for 2 person so its double that, that close to 10m won, a small fortune.
Its a very high price, might be higher depending on the actual amount of over stayed days.

Base on the list,
No renew Visa, more that 2 year, 10mil won,
Stay more that 90 day, no apply alien registration card, 10mil won,
How about illegal working?
So total sure very high..

I believe by 90days alien registration card they are expecting that people will be working illegally. That's why the high fines.
Possible 20million won. Less than 1 year salary, still a good deal considering they stayed and work for almost 2 years +.
If the girl is not pregnant still can work another few years before going back. But if they plan this they should be prepared i guess some fund for this.

Now kpkb air ticket expensive (3~4k/person)
All cos the middle man say, if got caught, I only need stay at airport detention room for few and deport...
